Hiya, long story short, Drunk Babutters went and sold her weapon last night, and Sober Babutters cannot find it at all on item restore.
Is this a bug or has Drunk Babutters doomed her weapon to oblivion?
Blizzard policy says if it’s not there then the item is lost.
Are you sure it was sold? If not have you checked bank and void storage?

Definitely sure I’ve sold it as I don’t use bank or void storage. Every other item I have sold recently was listed in the restoration page, which is why I’m wondering if it is a bug or something? I have had to restore it once before, could this be why it isn’t appearing?

I don’t suppose it’s possible your session from yesterday is still active and you haven’t logged off?
I definitely logged out. Guessing it must well and truly be gone then…that’s annoying. Ah well, worse things happen at sea!

It’s very unlikely for what I assume to be an epic weapon to be gone so quickly from the restore logs, and I suspect Sober Babutters may need to scroll or check the next page on their item restore history to see the rest of the items they sold recently. Assuming it’s a 187 Raid Finder Staff, it is most definitely available in there.
