Can a Demon & Human become friends? Without attacking eachother? In RP?

So, here I am wondering. If a demon & human can become friends in WoW universe? Without hurting eachother? Or will a demon have an ulterior motive as always? If you look from a demon’s perspective their lives are all about destruction, and it’s normal for them, it’s like a regular normal activity for them. But for humans that is not normal and looked down upon.

So how can a demon & human come over eachother differences in RP? Or WoW universe? Has it happened before in WoW? I am not talking about a warlock subduing a demon. I am talking about, a regular human meeting a demon, would they be able to form a friendship? Or is that impossible considering how different their lives are from one another.

While I could certainly see a beneficial working relationship, demons are by their very nature chaotic and prone to destructive motivations. If we’re talking “regular people” as in non-warlocks or similar spellcasters, any relationship appearing as genuine friendship would likely be a manipulative act on the part of the demon.

Is it impossible for a demon and mortal to be true friends? Probably not, but it goes against the usual nature of demons to not have an agenda of some sort.

Other than Lothraxion? cant recall any demon being buddies with humans, masters? aye, slaves? aye, friends? I cant recall a case, n Lothraxion at that stage I mean, is he even a demon? or just a light infused version of what his race woulda been originally? a light infused alien

He is apparently a planted entity to fuel the war against the Legion for the Jailer’s plans.

He is? ffs, everything is connected to the Jailer, hate that dude.

Demons and humans or any other race that happens to be warlock, never are friends. Think it more as “Friends with benefits” deal. Demons would never deal with “lesser race” other than themselves, but since warlocks bind them to their service, you can literally expect them to take any chances to heck you over.

I am largely in agreement with the sentiment, though exceptions do apply. Namely in the case of demons that can’t even be summoned without their consent.

Observer demons have a fascination with various aspects of magic, and the promise of such a continual feast is usually the key for warlocks to enter a bargain with one. They are also near impossible to summon in the first place unless they themselves have an interest in such, which again shows their agency compared to other warlock-related demons.

Yes. I should’ve added some demons won’t even bother that too powerful even for warlocks to control. I.E Inquisitors, Jailers, Doomguards etc.

Yeah the ones summoned against their will, I imagine them being similar to the Daedra in that book, I forget which from the ES games, where a novice(?) I think summoner ends up with his heart ripped out for making a rookie mistake with the Daedra in question, I dont imagine non consenting summoned demons appreciate their masters.

Every demon is a legion spy. Treat them accordingly, feed them nothing but lies and make them give up their lives for your own ends.

Imps are nothing more than cannon fodder anyways

More like live grenades.

How about instead of summoning demons you summon yourself some maidens

That’s more of a paladin thing with a glyph, we don’t want to steal your schtick.

The Black Harvest did not like that.

What are they gonna do, complain about their lack of maidens?
