Can I get banned for spamming guild invites?

Guild invite spam has been in the game for a very long time, but is it allowed by ToS or not?

Also are the addons that send guild invites for you allowed?

I think it is allowed because while i’m leveling alts i have lots of auto invites to guilds, they are doing fine so i assume it’s not forbidden.

There is an option players can use “Block Guild Invites” so nope. It is something preventable.

Seems to be allowed OK. As to the mention above about ‘block guild invites’

I find that with that enabled, I mostly only get auto guild invites when I have that unticked. So there must be guild invites which check to see if the invite was received and if not, it wouldn’t send the guild invite message.

I would recommend using one of those over ones which sends the guild invite message even if you have block guild invites ticked.

It’s oke, but you can get muted if enough people report you. I am one of those people that report all and any spam.

You are not the only one for example on AD realm you have alot of people spamming guild recruitment on trade sometimes the same level as boosting spam so I report some of them for spam.

Me too. They need to remove ginvite from addons. I block invites on all (guildless) characters and still get the whispers. I report them all the time.
