Edit: NVM, it seems they’re not one of the pet families that can be tamed. Sucks.
Oozes, sludges, slimes, whatever you want to call them. Can I have one as a hunter pet?
As you pointed out, no you cannot.
Reminds me when some creatures that were spawned from a Scholozar Basin quest counted as Crocolisks even though one looked like a slime, meaning some Hunters were able to tame it before it got changed.
