One thing that I’ve really loved about Dragonflight is the little Naaru that pops up when I used Holy Word spells on my Holy Priest.
Would Blizzard consider allowing me to keep the little guy out, as a pet, similar to how Warlocks have their pets and allow both of us to name them? I think its so cool to have a pet Naaru (as they are probably my favourite creatures in WoW lore) and it would make Holy Priest stand out from Disc Priest (Aside from the awful Atonement gimmick that made me abandon Disc in the first place).
I don’t play Holy Priest, so I didn’t know about the Naaru, but I’m totally in favour of being able to name minions. Hunters can name their pets, so why can’t we?
Yeah, the top talent for the Holy Priest makes a Naaru appear and copy any of your holy spells. So yeah, I believe that Warlocks and Priests should be able to name it and have the same freedom like Hunters do.
Because hunters’ pets are their pets, they tamed them, they named them, they didn’t have names before the hunter came along and gave them to them. Warlocks have demons, who are big scary beings from another place, that could rip us in two if they aren’t properly controlled and contained by the warlock… they already have a name, they tell us what it is, we don’t tell them. Why upset a demon?
