This whole expansion wasn’t delivered properly, unbalanced classes and talents and dungeons, no PVP balance and the list is endless as forums show, beside youtube channels showing bugs and classes doing 500k dps in m+ while others doing 60k, buggy quests, endless time gating on valor, professions etc, if this game was announced to be bought at Beta i wouldn’t ask for refund, but this was a full release after “lot of beta testing” clearly not done. Class tuning is a joke. Clunky game play by some classes compared to others, for instance i’ve a resto shaman with 10% haste and playing it feels decent while clicking stuff compared to blood dk even with haste around 30%+ with procs or heroism. Question is can i refund or not, can anyone share the details for refund process so I can check, thanks.

They will refund if you’ve played less than 2 hours and had it for under 2 weeks. Otherwise you’re out of luck.
What exactly is so special about a class with 405 ilvl, fully buffed pumping these numbers aoe? I am sure most classes will be able to do that.
You can, but if you will get it is a different question. And I highly doubt after all this time.
They have arbitrary rules on the matter, those two hours. It is not clear whether they trump local laws, which would differ. Regardless, the company rules come first unless you bring it to court which is not financially wise for you.
On my refund request I was given 3-10 days processing time. It’s close now, but I will give them 14 days before I question what is going on.
There is no question that damage control is going on and if I find double standard I’m not going to happy about it. At all.
You’re using a short clip of one of the best players in the world who has very good gear and blasts a single pack as evidence for bad balancing? Arcane isn’t even one of the best classes for m+ yet you complain about it based on a 20 second clip. I’m at a loss about what to say here. Maybe “try to get a refund and so that you wont have to get shocked by short clips you cleary don’t understand”?
Not quite based on one mage, check the same channel for the same clip, it’s filled with unbalanced stuff, no game should be released with so many unbalanced classes either tank/heal/dps, why do we have to wait for tuning for a fully released game? better play other games meanwhile but i see your point.
no one should do 600k dps on the beginning of an expansion,
and it doesnt matter how much skill he has with clicking 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 3…
As an arcane mage all the stars have to align to do this type of damage. You need to have all cooldowns ready, full mana, and all your arcane harmony stacks. The mobs need to be perfectly stacked, and during most of the rotation you pretty much can’t move. It’s also very easy to interrupt you, and situations like in this video are really rare, because usually the tank moves the pack around, and if he does, you can’t do your damage
tuning is always a work in progress and they are currently tuning every week. There will always be differences between classes especially with the new talent trees which allow for many possible interactions between talents, trinkets etc.
M+ tuning currently has some problems with some classes being too weak (e.g. balance druids) and others being too strong (rogue, dh, maybe ww) but its impossible to perfectly balance raid, m+ and pvp before the season starts as even blizzard doesnt have all the relevant data beforehand (tbf though, they did a rather bad job balancing m+ in the past, lets hope its better in DF).
It’s just a number. What’s wrong with it? The guy has 20+ ilvls more than most people. And this dps was just the peak on a random trash pack, what’s exactly the issue?

this “arbitrary number” is the difference between clears and death in places where you are supposed to die at this point of the expansion.
but balancing is the last thing they should focus on right now. there are plenty of other issues in the game.

Lets divide all damage by 1000 and it’s fine? Unless you mean 600k compared to overall dps of around 60k? In this case: Don’t look at a single pull and rather at the whole dungeon. As stated before: Arcance mage isnt even one of the top specs for m+.
Also quite hilarious how world quest andy Wushupanda acts like playing arcane at Imfiredups level is nothing more than clicking 1,1,2,1,1,2,3.
it was just an example on how dps is not balanced, u rarely see frost dk, warriors, ele shamans, feral druids, ret paladins. Idk about you but i’m forced to invite dh/rogue/monk/enha and warlocks mostly in order to finish M+ in time at high keys. Another topic but wish they implement this guy idea on M+ without the timer, would be better at this point for the game and for all to experience less toxic zerg rush mode on M+ dungeons.
If done this exact pull on a +17 earlier with noone doing 600k dmg, instead we killed the group slow and steady. Game didnt break.
What is game breaking? Having a high geared pro player, doing a guild run, popping everything and having a 600k peak for 0,1 sec? How is that game breaking?
It would be game breaking if everyone was max geared and it was the only class that’s able to do it. That’s not the case tho?
