I just did the run (took me about an hour to find a team in lfg) and I was stupid enough to leave before returing the quest inside. Is there anything I can do other than hope I’ll find a team again?
I don’t think so, you’re out of luck. The item only appears when the last boss is defeated and you need to turn it in there and take a new quest to complete the questline. A similar thing happened to me in Legion, and I was not very happy about it, but no can do.
