iv been looking for guild players to recruite in premade group finder and someone whispered me that there might be a posssiblility to get banned from it soo wanted to make sure about it
The group finder is not a suitable place for recruitment and yes you can be flagged for advertising.
People have received punishments in the past for abusing the group finder in this way. Group finder is meant for groups looking for more players to do content there and then.
aha i see yeah understandable but can i search for players for that days guild run thoo like if we are missing 1 player and we needed a dps can we search for 1 dps for the raid at that day before time like before 5 hours or soo
If you’re using it to find players to ‘top up’ that specific guild run it would be ok of course. But remember a lot of these people are cross-realm and might not be willing to realm transfer as that is a paid-for service.
I’d suggest you look at dedicated recruitment facilities - there are realm fora here, and there are also recruitment Discords which are easy to find with a little googling as two suggestions.
