So, i m rn on a new players server and i just made lv 54, i searched on google to see how does it work and they said that i cant transfer it to another realm where the density is high or full, is this true or nah?
Unless a realm is locked, it’s open for transfers. It is more common to find realms locked in Classic than Retail. Full is not locked. It’s just a busy realm. Busy realms may have queues and lag during the start of new expansions.
You can just start over for free on a new realm. Levelling doesn’t take that long.
Realms will tend to have a bias towards one faction over the other, however, cross faction guilds are coming in the next patch. For example my Horde are based on Draenor and my Alliance on Silvermoon but I’m slowly rerolling them all to Draenor as and when I can be bothered to level again.
Well, High probably
Full, by definition maybe not.
Best way is to try and see if it allows you
At level 54, i would just re-level.
I could transfer my hunter to draenor just fine in shadowlands, even if that one says full constantly.
Yeh a transfer seems a like a huge waste of money for a couple of hours work.
Reminds me… i once paid race changed for a level 30 character back in like MoP, just when we started getting the new character models.
Not touched that character much after that.
Probably once of the silliest purchases of my WoW career
As everybody has said, while you can transfer - for money! - I would just start a new character on your preferred realm. I suggest Draenor if you want to go Horde.
or Silvermoon if ally
However expect huge queues on expansion releases, and possibly any major patch.
With the current state of the game?
I don’t remember having any problems playing on Draenor early this expansion.
