I remember trying to tank dungeons back in TBC, only problem was maintaining aggro. We are squishier now though, not sure when that happened but I feel a lot less tough then I used to considering I have mail and shield.
But we don’t need Plate to Tank. Druids, DHs and Monks tank in Leather and without a shield.
OP, all joking aside, you can wear the Stormwind Plate set from the Garrison as it is cosmetic. I put it on my Mage for a laugh once.
