You were right. Bit confusing that it wasn’t on the drop down list, but got it. Should have gone online first. Learning moment. Thanks!
It is a bit odd it’s done this, normally we would claim it.
Because it wouldn’t be the first time that “EU Rules and Regulations” are pesky unwanted buzz-kills, preventing players to receive gifts or to participate in certain events.
The mount is there but pet is NOT. Yet I cannot redeem it to EU. FIX THAT BS!
The pet is for Cata Classic.
Please refer to the main thread here:
I got the Mount but not the pet…
Did you get the Timber Sky Snakelet pet too? Because I didn’t… just the mount.
[Looked at your collections, you don’t]
Pet is for Cata Classic. If you want that pet for Retail you need to buy it from the store.
Lame…

I’m getting same issue EU not listed but when I log into game I have gotten the mount but not the pet
Pet is for Cata Classic
It’s cata classic pet
The “bug” when trying to claim this “gift” is still present. Players in Europe can only select from North America & Oceanic (NA), Korea (KR) and Taiwan (TW) regions when trying to claim this gift, while players in NA & Oceanic can only select from Europe (EU), Korea (KR) and Taiwan (TW) regions when trying to claim this gift.
Despite this claim “bug”, in Retail the mount is automatically added to your collection when you log into the game, but I don’t know whether the pet for Cata Classic is auto added to your collection because I haven’t bothered with Classic since shortly after Wrath Classic launched.
Can anyone confirm whether the pet is also automatically added to your collection in Cata Classic please? I’m guessing it is auto added but some confirmation would be better than just guessing or assuming.
Good to know that we can either allow this gift to expire or claim it for another region, though I suspect some may find leaving the gift alone and waiting for it to expire a bit annoying.
Go in game, look in your mount tab.
Edited - thanks phone for always thinking you know better
What? Is that supposed to actually mean something?
Mount tab.
Yeah, I know where to find my various collections and I already know that the mount is auto-added to your Mount collection when you log in-game. Maybe try re-reading my comment and realise that I was actually asking if anyone can confirm that the PET is auto-added to collections in Cata Classic. Why would I look under the Mount tab for a PET?
Clearly you already know it all, my apologies. I’ve not bothered to install Cata to check. I presume it will be in game.

She’s trying to help and you’re being rude in every reply. It’s not like she meant for it to sound rude but maybe when you’re asking for help you should consider being nicer to the people who are actually taking the time of their day to make yours easier. It’s basic decency
How am I “being rude in every reply”? My initial comment in this discussion was basically confirming that the bug with trying to claim the gift was still present. I then also confirmed that the mount is automatically added to the Mount Collections upon logging into the game. I clearly stated that I didn’t know about the pet for Cata Classic and I followed that by asking if anyone could confirm that the PET for CATA CLASSIC was also being automatically added to Collections. I also highlighted the relevant parts in bold so that they would stand out clearly so as to avoid confusion.
The first reply from Punyelf was, initially, complete gibberish because they used their mobile phone to type the reply and then hit the “Submit” button. Unfortunately they clearly forgot to double-check the message before hitting that “Submit” button and so failed to notice that auto-correct had turned their message into gibberish. I then simply replied asking if the gibberish was actually meant to mean something. Punyelf then edited that reply to correct the gibberish and turn it back into their intended reply.
Unfortunately their reply was completely irrelevant because it was advising me to look in the Mount Tab. Seemed rather obvious that they simply hadn’t actually read my initial comment and had maybe just skimmed over it and assumed I was asking about the mount. I then replied to point out their mistake.
They then followed up with another reply that was, to me, a rather obvious underhanded insult, Unfortunately the written word is very much open for mis-interpretation by any and all. I certainly intended no rudeness towards anyone, I merely asked a question initially and, when the intended help was, at first, just gibberish and then completely incorrect I simply pointed out the mistakes. Nobody will ever improve if they are never told when they’ve made a mistake!
In this instance, Punyelf made a number of mistakes, but now, apparently, I’m the bad guy for some weird reason! Helping others only works when your intended help is actually correct and, therefore, helpfull.
Seriously, how did me asking what I thought was a simple enough question get turned into this comedic horror?
