I can buy the book, and learn it, but can not tame them, tried whit huolon in terrace, and the one shadow pan monostary, but nope doesnt work.
ps, I tried to report it ingame, but for some reason, it decided not to work this time. (most likey addon problems from my side.)
Are you trying to tame friendly cloud serpents? Only hostile. Think it needs BM too.

yes hostile ones, I tried the one in terras of endless spring (huolon), and the one in shadow pan monestary, both are hostile, and should be tameable but are not.

yes I am beastmaster, and I did use the tome I can buy for it, but nope
the only difference that I have is that my hunter was unable to use the book and it was a different non-hunter that activated it
where you able to tame any of them your self or didnt you try?
yes, I have the terrace of endless springs first boss tamed
it nice enough to reset itself so you can get it a 2nd time
hmm then I dont understand what is going on, might go in and buy the tome on my priest and se if that makes a difference, both priest and hunter are exalted whit them.

I got x2 Tsulong from terrace and elegon from vaults (however you do get trapped in there for your audacity and the name is removed and it becomes a spirit beast). I’ll go back next raid reset for 2nd one. Good luck!
Not all of them are tameable. Whether it’s intentional or not I don’t know.
I suggest checking the look you want here and finding a suitable NPC.
You could use the LFR version of the raid to grab second Elegon, that’s what i did.

Btw I can’t find cloud serpents on petopia. Edit: My mistake they are under serpents.

would appear Tsulong is normal cunning pet. So any hunter can tame. Elegon is spirit beast and hence exotic.
No. Only the char that is exalted cloud serpent can learn it. However, it can be a non-hunter. At that point it’s account wide.
I tamed on alliance and horde after learning on one non-hunter.
