I’m honestly edgy that elves can be demon hunters. Dh’s are freaks, and elves are suppoesd to be majestic and beautiful creatues. can you at least let us make trolls or pandas be DH’s?
Short answer. No.
Kaldorei and Sin’dorei are the only two races who learned how to become those freaks, and now their purpose in existence is pretty much gone, it seems unlikely that they would be recruiting.

I’m quite glad DH is reserved for only Elves and I hope Blizzard will never change it.
Even if the whole “the current Illidari can train new ones” is a reasonable argument there is no need for new DHs and the method for making/trainig them is unorthodox and dangerous and generally wouldn’t be accepted by the current powers anyway.

We desperately need Mechagnome Demon Hunters, with a new purpose: purge all non-mechanic life from Azeroth! The Curse of Flesh is the demon they seek to eradicate. Perfect allies to an alternative timeline where King Mechagon was triumphant.
If you need a villain most of the playerbase is terrified of, this is the theme you want.
They could metamorphose into a tiny fel reaver!

Demon Hunters are lorewise the most redundant “order” in the History of Azeroth…
Allied elves maybe, any other race would not make sense unless they open all race/class combos.
Superior races only.
Void scum and Nightborne may not apply.
(They’ll probably open up to more races at some point in the future though)
