Can someone list the graphic settings and each and ones impact on CPU / GPU
You could use Google to research that info easily enough. Impact on CPU/GPU can also be determined by your hardware capability and things like DirectX version and not everyone has the same setup in that regard.
Many of the settings in game will say in the tooltips if they may have a major impact to lower/increase preformance.
Then Google and give me a correct list of such things then, if its so easily done.
It does not say what parts it has impact on. Performance is a vague description.
What if you have a strong CPU but not so strong GPU? Or vise versa?
I want to know what settings impact what the most.
In addition to that i also want to know how important that setting are for gameplay such as raiding and dungeons.
Can i have everything on low and it is still all good?
Some kind of score system between 1-5 to indicate its importancy to gameplay would be good.
Preferably a blue post, tbh.
Then feel free to check your bottleneck for your hardware.

On my AMD Ryzen 5700G with RTX 3060 (12GB) WoW runs without much issue. The only problematic zones to load/display are Valdrakken (Dragonflight Capital) and the new Zone Emerald Dream. Both have lots of geometry/assets in it, so the GPU is on WoWs outdated engine quite busy, since the engine doesn’t fully utilize all aspects of your hardware.
[AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D] is too weak for [AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX] on 3840 × 2160 pixels screen resolution for General Tasks.
This configuration has 14.7% of processor bottleneck .
It doesn’t really matter though, since i started this thread to get a LIST of what settings are heavily depending on what hardware. And their role in playing the game.
I wish someone with some proper knowledge could attend this thread and provide such a list. A proper one, based upon true facts and not beliefs or other similar fantasy things.
I just turn shadows and compute effects off myself. Sorry I don’t have a list.
Well, I am not playing on a 4K screen. Not my problem.
Nice attitude =)
“Not my problem” well how do i respond to that? Politely leave the thread and don’t come back untill you have something worthy to say?
