I’ve seen people with similar problems in this forum. You purchase a race change, a faction change, something, in classic. Then you make a mistake, change to the wrong race, wanna go back, whatever.
Why in the world does retail has a 72 Hour cooldown for this type of thing while classic has 30 days? This seems in no way justifiable for me, it just seems odd.
This post is more of a suggestion to blizzard: Couldn’t they just make a 72 hour cooldown on all servers?
I, personally, made a mistake, I am willing to pay Blizzard money to correct it, but I have to go through 30 days of UNPLEASANT gameplay just because of “reasons”.
In the past, this used to be significantly longer because Blizzard wanted you to think real hard about this before committing to any of the services due the impact on the local realm. I believe this used to be 6 months per character transfer. Nowadays retail has connections, global AH for a lot of commodities etc.
By the way, Classic transfers are 90 days. So Wrath’s 30 days is quite lower cooldown, although the latter shares CD with various character services.
Or modernize the character service, making it also 72 hour cooldown like it as it is in retail, cause there is no reason for “character service nostalgia” XD
But nonetheless, if they’re gonna keep the 30 day cooldown, it should be SAID to the player when he’s pressing accept on the service.
The whole way, if you click “shop” ingame, buy it, and use it, there is absolutely nowhere saying “BECAREFUL, YOU’RE GOING TO BE ON COOLDOWN FOR 30 DAYS”
