Can we add gladiator mounts in the trading post?

I missed out on every single gladiator mount just short of 2400 points and 100 wins but since theyare also achievment mounts why not add them in trading post? Why gatekeep people? cuz of the “prestige” ?

Its the only logical solution going forward since they adding AotC Mount’s to trading post, might aswell add glad mounts (nothing prestigious about them since so many bought boost’s anyways).

I mean why not? For example add my title to trading post too, it only makes sense. Why gatekeep.

Add everything to the the trading post, and stop with this artificial gatekeeping.
But do expect to see gold prices soar and bots become more rampant because people will want to have it all.

Id be up for this as i dont pvp & some of these mounts look pretty cool.

Both Glad, elite sets and Aotc should just have used a token system.

Where each season a new item got added to a relevant pool of rewards and you when you achieved the goal, you got a token that let you pick the one you wanted.

Yeah why not at this point. It’s now clear that they are willing turn rewards you actually have to earn in-game into regular trading post items.

Personally I will no longer be going out of my way to complete glory of the hero or ahead of the curve achievements anymore, because why would I waste hours on them when i can just wait it out and get whatever i want with a few clicks?

I also won’t be trying to get mythic keystone mounts and the seasonal PvP mounts anymore.

No point in trying to do anything prestigious in this game from now on. I’m just gonna lay back and wait for literally everything to turn into Trading Post items.

ahead of the trading post

I have a suggestion regarding trading post old mounts and EVERYONE is complaining about, to agree with everyone.

  1. Some ppl complain that they want old OG mounts like spectral tiger in the game
  2. Some ppl complain that they DONT want this. I am part of this, because I remember paying the subscription at times, just to get that specific mount, because I knew it will become unobtainable.
  3. some ppl complain that they are mount collectors, and if in a month there are mounts from the past, they just can’t buy anything, and it’s fair to everyone to get +1 new mount from there

Now, as everyone saw, there is a spicy exchange of opinions on all the sides.

To make everyone happy, I have the following suggestion.

  1. recolors won’t really work because, they need time to do it, and it’s not actually the same mount… no one wants a blue version of something that was black, because you wanted that one specifically.
  2. Bringing back the real mounts won’t work either. because, except for those bought with real money, they were bought with hours ingame of farming that one. And it takes away the satisfaction of doing something like that. I always praise ppl that I see with antique mounts, like gladiator netherwing drake.
  3. You can’t keep them away too, because some ppl didn’t play at that time, and its fair for them to give them a chance to.

So, the only solution to make everyone happy is:
Make the same mount, same color, but give it a “v2” or something in the name. Sound stupid but listen:

  1. This way, ppl that already had that mount won’t complain, because they have the “original” one that looks the same, too. So same pixels, different name. They have no more reasons to be toxic.
  2. Ppl that don’t have it, can’t say anymore “it’s just pixels, stop trying to show your pride”, because after all, they want that mount right? not the name. Its 100% same look. Now if they want the same name, then who is toxic now? you want to fly with an unobtainable mount right? why do you care if its name has a “v2” at the end?
  3. Mount collections will be happy, that they will always have a +1 mount in the trader’s post, as everyone else.

I’d say “Sure, do it”, but only for mounts from previous expansions, so there’s some prestige left to having a recent PvP-mount (I doubt anybody looks at other people’s mounts, but just smile and nod here), so that’s fair, but insisting on the “prestige” of an old mount (“Look at me, i was good at PvP 5 years ago!”) is a bit silly.

Yeah, exactly that.

Have you considered to play the game for fun? Just wondering? Like just do the things you enjoy?

No. You don’t understand that lots people are playing for cosmetics/mounts. and when they get something unobtainable they are happy because they worked for it.

If you just like to zug zug the Azeroth its your problem, but if you will get for example, a gladiator mount and you didnt worked for it, then those that worked for it, will just change the game, cuz nothing will be important for them anymore.

Why you want everything? you have a lot of mounts already.

Thats you saying that hahaha.

Glad mounts - hard to get, almost impossible. Ppl are spending hours on streams learning how to use tactics. If you cannot do this = no Glad mount for you.
I never got one, because I was never that good. But that competitive thing kept me in this game. If I would get it from a vendor, with 1 click, then why would I try to play arenas anymore?

For people like you, they should make a funserver, with absolute every transmog/mount/title earned already 100%. lets see how many ppl will actively play there “just for fun”. It will be boring and they will close it in a few months.

You want something, then effort. Stop beggin’

No, git gud.
I dont pve and will never get the pve mounts.
Somethings should be hard to earn.
And if you cant earn everything, though potatos, honey.

With 2 click’s i can buy gold, and with that gold i can buy pvp boost for glad mount(which my friends did).
The only reason youd be sad about mounts/gear being on trading post is that reason.
Same goes for tcg mounts, bit sad innit.

The game used to be somewhat based around occasional big hits of reward endorphins for getting something difficult to obtain. But that reward was largely limited to players with skill and / or dedication, which limits your consumer base. Better for your bottom line to make rewards easy for everyone to get. Of course, problem is that the endorphin hit for an easy achievement is much smaller, and if you do it do often the low-commitment players get bored of the rewards and start playing a different game. At the same time, you’ve alienated some of the skilled / dedicated players and they also go play something else instead. In the end, you end up with a game that is entirely dependent on gameplay - if it’s good fun to play irrespective of the rewards it will still sell, if it’s not then it’ll die.
