Can we finally get a boost to conquest points earned?

I find that the amount of conquest points earned from arena is too low.
A win in 2v2 gives 25 CP.
A win in 3v3 gives 35 CP.

After playing this season for SO LONG, I got bored of playing my only geared character. But if I want to gear up one of my alts, it takes incredibly long to get some “normal” games going. I can currently collect 14.850 conquest points on my alt. That would take exactly 594 WINS in 2v2.
To be more reasonable, if I’d just want to buy a staff. It would cost 1800 conquest points, which is exactly 72 wins in 2v2. The grind is just so long and it’s frustrating, because without gear… You’re useless…

I believe there used to be a conquest points catch up system back in WoD. Correct me if I am wrong. But why don’t we have this at this point in the season? In my opinion it’s about time to get a 100-500% boost on conquest points earned, atleast of the first couple of thousand conquest points that CAN be earned. Nobody wants an average item lvl 158 geared on their team in battlegrounds either.

doesn’t it give even less after the first win?
Never bothered to look because you basically get no points either way lol

also rbgs give 100 (150 for daily) for much longer games.
I also didn’t really understand, sometimes I get conquest points for losing a game and sometimes not?

they probably wont update anything until 9.1 they say “we dont want to hurt pve gearing by buffing pvp” but everyone already has a character with full bis gear I dont think anyone would mind if they buffed gear acquisition.

No, the numbers he gave are the post first win numbers. First win in 2v2 is 35 and first win in 3v3 is 50, iirc.

Yep,14850 as of this reset.

Good luck grinding it out in 2s or 3s.

Even if you farmed rbg’s which give 100 conquest for win,it would still require to win 140ish games. LUL

Yes would be nice to get catch up so i can grind my alt atleast to 1600 and get full 213 set, but ofc it is not gonna happen. Or i dunno at this point the world pvp quest should give like 50 conquest.

No he doesnt.Its his alt,and gearing second or third char,and spending weeks just to get conquest points is not fun.

Because you passively gain honor no matter what pvp activity your doing.
Also some wins give about 1k honor as do the weekly quests.
If your wanting honor pieces to get started you can just get the covenant bits with vers .

Are you seriously comparing yourself, you who have buddies to help you out,to someone who’s highest pvp achievement is 1600?

I strongly doubt you farm conquest with randoms from group finder.

Yeah keep doubting, i even had to play 3s with a 3rd from LFG and yes i capped with LFG sadly often enough

Im a private server player, i know no one but my healer on retail

Cute that you assume i have mates when i legit stopped because me and my healer couldnt find a 3rd to play with x)

Lets not forget my original main, my disc. Couldnt play him for months because im not in the cool kids club on retail.

Also this isnt about ego but math. Honor is just harder to farm to fully upgrade your gear, its a bigger grind and no PoV changes that. You get conquest even while capping on 1.1 mmr. If you cant upgrade your gear once you got other issues than the conquest cap.

In the past (MoP) one could buy conquest gear with honor points after earning 27K conquest (wich meant 1 geared main). Was a pretty nice feature.
