And no, more bear and cat reskins do not count. I’ve been looking at that god damned cat model for nearly two decades! And its front paws still look nothing like a feline’s paws.
Don’t get me started on staring at a bear’s a** for 18 years either. Or that gorilla bear hybrid.
What druids need is three things and if there are still hidden forum dwellers from Activision here who relay information to the team, I hope they take it with.
A Mimic skill. You use this on any beast or nature elemental like a treant and you can then see which possible forms this beast could serve. Use on gorilla, devilsaur, or hydra. This form can be a guardian form. Use on raptors, wolves, or lizards, this can be a feral form. With some blend of all for travel forms and flight forms.
Then you hit it again and you ‘slot’ that form into one of 3 slots per form you can have memorised. 3 free slots for guardian, 3 for feral etc. To prevent bloat.
At the barber, or maybe with a skill you can use anywhere, you can now select these learned animal forms for your guardian and feral forms. Et voila.
“But the animations…” I hear you say. Don’t use it if the animations bother you. Even so, many beast have plenty of animations that can be used for various attacks anyhow. And most animations in bear and cat are very minute.
This fixes the 18 years and going on cats and bears omg… make it stop.

This isn’t star wars, we aren’t princess Leia. Okay okay, the tauren women can RP as Leia, but the rest of us cannot! And should not.
Glyph for specific humanoid forms. Glyph of Goldrinn for feral form. This allows druids to use a worgen form as their feral form. Or lets worgen use their own form as feral form. They have all the requirements physically and were quite literally creates to be a feral form. So what gives?
Or that cat model everybody was so hype about, which is a worgen reskin so it doesn’t even demand much - or any - work. “But then all druids can be worgen?” Yea, just disable it in PvP, in fact disable all of this in PvP if it’s so bothersome and there we go.
If I see one more cat reskin added, I’ll catch my neighbour’s cat, flay it and send the skin to Activision HQ and tell them to wear it. For 18 years!
