Can we fix lvl 75 - 80 in Timewalking (trying to lvl toons)

In time walking dungeons the scaling at 75-80 is rottern can you fix this?

scaleing pls?

also can you nerf the XP requirement me friend lvld from 40 to 71 during the same time it took 5 llvls from 72 to 77 feels underwhelming (and we duo queed)

trying to lvl toons the scaleing after 74 is god awful do you even play the game blizzard?

It’s already faster than it’s ever been due to the holiday event and warband bonus and you want them to nerf it even more? At that point we may as well remove lvling all together.

I did 1-80 in 16 hours of playtime without doing dungeons, by simply doing quests at a leisurely pace. If it gets any faster, you might as well as create characters at level 80 by default.

Scaling while leveling is just really BAD right now. Leveling up should make you feel more powerful not weaker.

The problem with doing it the other way around, is making the game way harder for new players. While you want the game to be easy at the start.

The problem lies with how Blizzard designs their ilvls and the ilvl inflation. For example, characters from season 4 of DF could get up to ilvl 530 or so, while the ilvl new level 70s get is about 415 or so (it is in TW, could be higher or lower depending on your source). And they design it that by level 80 you’d have To replace even mythic DF gear.

So in 10 levels you have to gain over a hundred ilvls and with the drops from the dungeon it’s not really possible. Questing covers you better as they reward you all slots. Dungeon drops are RNG, and it certainly doesn’t help when Legion TW hardly has any weapons or sometime not at all for certain specs, or like classic TW where certain slots are very lacking or don’t exist.

I never struggled in TW with alts that had prepatch gear, so at some point you’re probably gonna have to bite the bullet and buy gear if you want to make it easier.

They also used to get kicked. So the Blizz made them stronk.

Lower levels have ALWAYS been quicker compared to the level range of CURRENT expansion…

Now that’s a good take - people should understand this actually.

Why should the developers play their game ? When the community is testing the game for them and is paying the money to test it :dracthyr_a1:

I might not have had DF gear, but I had Timerunner gear from the boxes they give you at conversion to a normal character. That alone made my Timerunners feel like gods in TW.

3 dungeons to take 1 to 75 -76 so on to 80 lvl meanwhile lvl 40 - 70 is done in these 3 dungeons feels none rewarding considering getting one shotted after 75 due to scaleing sucks in dungeons for tanks.

blizzard should fix the scaleing

The lvling expeirance from 70 - 80 is slow compared 1-70 start a toon at 15 quee with you friend when you friend is 75 struggling your already 71 something.

the scaling is awkward.

The higer lvl the more fail groups due to blizzards scaling after 75.

also its the groups that makes your class feel weak after 75 people still learning tank constantly 2% and whipes everyone kicks 30min wait before reque.

shaman healer from 75- 80 doesnt exsist gets kicked due to slow heals tank dies…

DH tank in time walking is horrible lvling experience from 75-80 in time walking coming from someone who did lvl all the classes recently for the feat achievement.

Content Yes should be hard. But noob content shouldn’t be Mythic + 20 hard.

In general am done with Time walking but the content for lvling toons after 75 feels not fun.

scaleing should be fixed. also nerf the 70-80 experience require.

That is respectfully not true. I finished levelling my shammie as resto to 80 earlier today (70-80 all TW to get progress for the bee mount) and had no-trouble healing any of the instances.

this will be me soon if they dont fix the tuning.

As i mentioned before in all those twinks/scaleing topics, scaleing is truly become so scuffed due all those lvl/ilvl squishing.

And if developers don’t want to change/balance scaleing, one of the lazy ways to make high lvl dungeon experience better - its increase amount of gear drop, or re-introduce bag with piece of gear for completion of the dungeon.

If you want to play around with this scaleing - main problem is always will be gear, since you are leveling up faster than you acquire new gear.
As level 60 - you will get gear with +64 main stat, while as level 70 - you will get same exact gear but with +485 main stat. Pretty big difference, right? And sum it up with drop chances, which lead to this: as lvl 70, scaleing expect you to have almost every item with ~+300 main stat, which you dont have, since you lvling up so fast.

Best advice to anyone, who want to play around this scaleing and lvling up toons without getting one-shoted - is to buy timewalking gear from the vendor during leveling. Pay attention to stat changes on those items.
