Can we get another subscription model

I bought a year’s worth of subscription on RuneScape for 50% discount.

A year’s subscription on WoW gives you 10% to 20% discount at best.

This is ofcourse not including the free Microtransactions you get during the year.

But as someone who doesn’t give a single damn about Microtransactions and store crap, I’d be more inclined to get a subscription for a bigger discount, with losing the privilege of getting “freebies” from the store.

Please note that this is a suggestion towards the higher ups at Activision Blizzard for more money, if you feel offended, than that’s your choice but I wonder how other people feel about this forced subscription model?

It’s voluntary to sub to the game.

I get the feeling that 9/10 people who buy the year subscription generally buy it for the mount anyway.

I mean how many people actually know in advance wether they will play this game for a year straight or not

15% as stated on the shop page, you save 24€ per year. It’s basically the same discount % as the 6 month offer.

The freebies aren’t exchangeable for more discounts or other services and:

How do they get more money if they give you more discount while selling the same product?

But you can still submit this as feedback through the ingame suggestion box if you have good ideas what they should do with the sub price and/or “freebies”.

For a game I play pretty much everyday, yeah I’d be pretty happy with that. I don’t always want the things on offer and can usually get them off the store if I did. I don’t see much point subbing for a year/six months unless an expansion is freshly out because I’m not quite as active but if it was 50% off? Hell yes.

I don’t think Blizzard has ever done a gametime discount. They do however do bundled offers like new expansions Epic Editions/CE + 1 month or other offers but otherwise the price is pretty static.

Very unlikely they would follow Runescape’s Membership and throw a 50% year-round annual discount.

Oh I agree, just saying.

I don’t know about others, but I think the majority of people I play with do.

I know - I will!

And wow would be better because there are no bots… oh wait they are ingame since launch

The fact you pay about as much now as 19 years ago is pretty impressive actually. EVE is 20 EUR baseline now, plus all the microtransactions.

Made infinitely worse if it goes F2P…

Maybe
still the could step up there ban game invest some money and block mac adress and graphik cards or cpu parts once the find a bot

BUT they also could make the actuall situation so bad because they only shut down bots every once in a while and let them rebuy the game and a sup for more profit, i mean we talk about Bli$$ard

That is ilegal in EU. If the governments find out that a US multinational is geting info on what parts the users use, what hardware they use, and mac addresses with out consent or practical need…

Man o man… I dont wanna be the corp lawyers having to explain that…

I dont think most bots are located in the eu
