Doing the occasional wintergrasp and battleground dailies each day is enough to get full gear and honor capped in just one or two weeks. PvE players still get gold and badges for running dungeons beyond their need. What about PvP?

Sitting on honor cap for 12-14 weeks after buying all your honor gear does suck. In cataclysm they added a vendor where you could buy trade goods at extremely bad conversion rates, but it was at least something
50k honor for a single abyss shard would not break the game. We had lootboxes with herbs, ore and potions back in tbc classic. It would be similiar to that
That’s one possible solution. But I’d reach further and remove the cap, add new rewards for much higher amounts of honor (Savage/Hateful weapons, PvE Items, deadly gear w/o rating locks) and turn every characters’ honor into gold at the start of each new season.
If PvP gear can be obtained from PvE, why shouldn’t it be the other way around also? Why reserve deadly gear for the top < 10% when anyone can get their hands on gear from 25 raids? Nobody needs to be a top speedrunner or parser for their PvE shoulders for example.
Blizzard should ban all them from the game, they have sanctions ?
I’m saying this all the time… Wotlk in base form is boring and the hype is almost dead now. Just add TRANSMOG and the currency for it should be honor or emblems this way honor surplus can be spend in a fun way of changing your gear appearance. Right now almost everyone has full deadly offpart and playing bg is just not needed anymore so transmog idea would refresh hype and give people a purpose of playing bgs.

I was hoping that big playerbase from the start and everything working as intended will be fun. Yet there are more bugs than on private servers and I’m struggling to find anyone to play just 10 arena games where I’m arena player LOL its just insane if you think about it
So how will transmog help you in arenas? O_o
Not in arenas, but having a something to spend honor with would refresh BGs at least
You could grind out all the old crap in less than a day, it wouldn’t fix anything.

There’s a vendor in Wintergrasp where you can turn in Stone keeper’s shards & Wintergrasp win tokens for a BoA item that gives honor.
What good is this if you’re honor capped which is what the thread is about?
Yeah, i forgot that you don’t actually send honor… you trade shards for honor
