For the latter one, since some Kultirans are similar to regular humans (of which most UD are made of) and can be druids, you even get an explanation for being a druid.
Everyone’s getting druid eventually. But I think the shapeshifts aren’t considered “easy to implement” and will have some work put into them, unlike warrior/priest/rogue which is the first batch they’re doing.
I feel like making a race specific paladin mount shouldnt be that hard. Same with forms and totems really…
They recolour mounts all the time.
They only need to make 1 totem and then recolour it.
And forms basically exist in the game anyway and can surely be simply altered from existing models.
As for metamorphosis, it’s a demon at the end of the day. They could just use the same one.
I’m of the opinion to give every class to every race. (Aside from Demon hunter and the new dragon class which is fixed on a specific race/movements)
Dwarves:
Dwarves very much can be Druids especially from Wildhammers who are in touch with nature/nature homes and have a special connection to Gryphons.
Forms
Cat: snow leopard
Bear: brown bear with tattoos and feather, or polar bear
Ground travel: Ram
flying travel: gryphon
sea travel: Iron submarine
Blood elves:
learned druid to heal the ghostlands nature. Farstriders are very intouch with nature and were never too close with the sunwell, thus suffered less than the other Elves when the sunwell was gone. So the lore can be some Farstriders learned druidism from Taurens in order to heal the land.
Forms
Cat form: Lynx
bear form: Black bear, represents the dark ghostlands
travel ground: emerald Halwstrider
travel air: Dragonhawk
travel sea: pink Dolphin or pink jellyfish
Pandaren:
I feel like they are already in touch with nature, so it works
cat form: Tiger
bear: Panda or something else
travel ground: crane
travel flying: serpent
travel sea: turtle
Vulpera:
vulpera are resourcful and nomads, they learn whatever they can to survive example: Mage
I know gnomes aren’t very nature oriented but I’d still love a gnome druid turn into baby/animals such as:
Tank: Bear Cub
DPS: Kitten
Healer: Mushroom
Ground Travel: Wolf Cub
Flying Travel: Dun Morogh Chicken
Underwater Travel: Cold-water Crayfish
I’m just having fun, of course gnomes are not children. Druid forms could look cute or have comical value These days just about anything is possible in-game…
I was gonna say something about cultures and attunements to various aspects of magic and of course physical limitations, but we’re getting Tauren rogues so who cares at this point. Yeah, why not - let’s have literal panda tanks. Want a bamboo animation for it whenever it uses Frenzied Regeneration as well?
Girl, what the hell is this…
Gnomes are not children. Mushroom healers and flying roosters… what’s next?
