i think roleplayers would be rlly happy C: (not just text emotes! using ingame addons like Narcissus shows that there are lot of animated gestures in the files for each race that can be turned into visual emotes. You may sometimes see NPC’s in the world using them)
EDIT: more roleplaying things in general would be awesome to be released with Player Housing update
Many foods have same bread and tankard model. New unique ones would be cool (my favourite current existing food ingame are the noodles with steaming bowl and chopsticks that appear in players hand)
Monk class has Tea abilities that when you drink them it has cool liquid effects and drinking sounds. Imagine opening bottle with pop sound and then sitting in sauna in your apartment with friends and gulping belly full of mead after hard days adventure!

Only if we get more naughty and flirty emotes for our despicable needs.
Otherwise I don’t care about 10 ways to tilt your head.

Add easier access to emotes e.g. Key-hold pop-up select wheel.

The fact that both the leaning emote and high options come after 20 years and then only through potions is kinda ridiculous

It’s one of the things I thought were absolutely amazing in FF14, the way you could collect emotes from doing content. I wish they’d steal that

Oh gods, yes. Am RPer, would absolutely explode from happiness if we got more emotes.
(I recently give FFXIV a try to check their player housing in preparation of WoW housing, and oh boy do they have lots of cool emotes in that game. Different standing styles! Different sitting styles! Joy!)

Blizz deleted a bunch of “inappropriate” emotes… for a 12+ game you’d think Blizz was catering to toddlers.

more rp features released with player housing would be cool though. more emotes or cool foods and drinks with unique models and sound effects than just bread and same gray mug

People hyping FFXIV emotes is so funny to me since they put all new emotes into the cash shop nowadays

I might be out of the loop by now, but what they usually did was to first introduce a new emote through a short annual event or a holiday and, if it was not acquired through gameplay in time for whatever reason, then and only then it was going straight to their shop. Next similar event would have have something different as a reward, quite probably another pose or emotion.
This is why they’ve so many of them by now. And they keep making new.
Also, I’d bet many WoW players would be happy if Blizzard Shop began providing new emotions of their own in there. Even if they were strictly exclusive to the shop, unlike other game.

Should we not have a list of body language? Leaning against a wall, standing proud, drunk, amongst other things.

They got rid of too many emotes with their hand wringing and virtue signaling a couple of years back.

I still want to /spit on people as i could do long time ago but since we got too many easily offended players, i doubt this could happen

Nope. It was just a few emotes at best, and none had an assigned animation–which is what people care about. Who gives a f about non-animated emotes lmfao.

If you’re attached to them just make a mouseover macro. Easier than typing the emote in every time anyway.
