Can we get some new realm connections, please?

Like… some servers are so unbelievably dead you are either left to play CRZ with pugs or move servers. E.g. the state of Alonsus/Anachronos/KulTiras is so sad… AH dead-ish, no guilds on horde side… nothing going on there. Why won’t Blizzard just connect this cluster to some other big cluster so people can enjoy the game on a realm that is not dead?

And… you might say “move to a big realm dude” but… the biggest realms are actually full so I’m afraid of queues at starts of xpacs. 2. I have several characters and the cost of moving them all is prohibitive 3. Forcing people to spend money on moving to another realm is such a sad business move. People will rather quit.

So… Can customer support pass a message to deciding people to do a new round of server connections?? Please?

Customer support is unlikely to forward requests (it’s not their job) and even if they did it’s not like the higher ups are more likely to listen to them or anything like that.

You may want to join in this thread - Dead servers MEGATHREAD - Ghostlands/Dragonblights plea to Blizzard which has been going since 2019.
No-one has ever explained what happened when the second lot of connecting was stopped with no information at all. They did have a problem with a couple of the last connections so it could be that, but who knows. The main problem is lack of information.

Bro, you miss all the shots you don’t take. We need to be vocal that we need server connections because it’s really bad right now.

only developers can do anything about such things

  1. start tweeting devs on twitter
  2. start reddit campaigns
  3. start sending emails via linkedin to blizzard wow devs showing the megathread

They don’t … I was just surprised it was moved after I’d linked to the main post in the General forum and they’d marked it as solved. Normally it would be closed after that but, strangely, it was moved.

they still hold hope those missing players will return in 10.0 i think … that is why they will not merge anytime soon imo…

when 10.0 launches if the player draw is not high as expected…

then would be the ideal time to start considering the merge.

there is no logic to merging at a lower point of a expansion.
