I often use a /Tar X and then use the Minimap to see where the target is.
I don’t see this option in the Tracker anymore. This will be a significant loss if it’s gone. Is there a way to turn it on? Console command, Add-On, Settings?
Edit: It is working on Timeless Isle, it wasn’t warking in Dragon Soul. Is it a raid thing?
I have generally been missing this. I have it activated, but it rarely ever worked. So often I wanted to find an NPC, used /tar, but had to place a marker and then search to find them because the target marking doesn’t work. Dunno, maybe it only works for hostiles?
It is working when out of combat, I’ve noticed.
I had a Death Adder targeted and then I was attacked by a Crane and the highlight marker on the minimap didn’t show. But when out of combat it did show.
This is not how it used to work but meh. Not the end of the world. Losing it entirely would have been quite a blow to my wow enjoyment.
I am more bothered by essential usability like SpellBinding/BindPad or MapLine still not being native. Now I gotta wait and see whether barely to unmaintained essential addons will ever work again so I can press Alt+Mouse4 for a quick self-heal or not.
