Can we get the chain heal glyph back? Also more customisation glyphs

Now correct me if I get any of this wrong, I’ve played shaman since the games release 20 years ago and we’ve probably had the most changes of any class since that time in my opinion.

Originally our Chain Heal (CH) were the golden beam that resembled the Healing Wave (HW) spell used in Warcraft III by Shadow Hunters. The Shaman class has a mixture of abilities from Warcraft III units, notably from Far Seer, Shaman, Witch Doctor, Spirit Walker & Shadow Hunter.

Since the release of World of Warcraft, the HW spell from Warcraft III was renamed CH and designed for WOW and kept it’s original golden beam look.

Later in WoTLK I believe there was a glyph called Glyph of Deluge that allowed us to customise our CH to give it a watery appearance. This was awesome, I’m all for customisation. But later down the line, I can’t remembe when, I think was around BFA but I could be mistaken, they forcefully changed CH so it changed for the golden beam to the watery appearance and removed any possibility of having the golden beam effect.

Not only that, but there was suggestions to say they were actually in the process of updating the golden beam spell effect but I believe this never came out of PTR.

Search, Patch 7.3 - New Restoration Shaman Animations on youtube by IcyVeins to see.

I’d love it if we could get this old spell effect back in form of a new glyph? It wouldn’t take much and it takes me back the olden golden days, (ahem!) of Warcraft.

Also just to add, I’m disappointed that in Dragonflight they added a ton of elemental models and effects and not one shaman glyph was made to utilise them. It’d also be nice if we had an Ascendance form like Dathea, Ascended so our character model doesn’t change in to a completely different form. It’s a bit of an immersion breaker watching my orc changed into a thin elemental model, I can only imagine what it’s like for smaller or even bulkier races.

Thanks!
