15 year old game and it can’t even give me warning that my sub is about to expire?
Could at least give me a 5 minute warning instead of kicking me from game mid pull in a dungeon.

There used to be a warning. Havent payed attention to it ever since because my sub would potentially run out when im not usually online to begin with. Or i buy in advance.
Yes it could be put back in. Or you pay more attention.
But you wanted the authentic classic experience!

If you select WoW retail (guh… I hate using that term) on the launcher it shows you exactly when your time will expire.
But hey, people b*tched and moaned for #nochanges so no changes it shall be. Also there’s a whole separate forum for classic related stuff.

I didn’t take it that way, and I gave you a solution(not perfect but it’s something and easy enough to check).
But since this IS a classic issue, isn’t it more appropriate to post on that sub-forum?

What is it with you ‘Classic’ guys that have to pick up on any post, however unrelated, and still want to take a side swipe at the current full game of World of Warcraft. This forum isn’t even the Classic forum.

In Tera there is an icon top left of the screen that tells you how many days you got left, and I have to say I do keep an eye on that to avoid a similar issue. Maybe make a suggestion in game. You never know.

What…? He/she is posting on a classic character… Thus I assume it’s classic issue because in normal WoW you DO get a message. Hence I point to the classic forum.
But yeah talking about Tera or a ingame suggestion is MUCH more helpful

It tells you right beside the “play” button for classic/retail how much time you have left if you use the battle net app.
Also it will and always has given a 30 min warning in game so you have been blind to see it .

I agree.
Was mid raid once, when my card had expired, and got kicked out of the game. My sub normally auto tefresh, so had not thought about it.

There’s a yellow message line in game. I think I saw a 15 minute one?

I got a warning yesterday 30 minutes before my subscription ran out, so I don’t know what’s wrong, but it must be your game or maybe you missed it. But it was a message box in the middle of the screen.

50% cases I do not get warning when GT runs out, other 50% cases it spams my screen to death.

Doesn’t it show on the launcher next to where you press ‘Play’ how much game time you have left?

If you’re old enough to have played the game for 15 years you should maybe have a credit card or paypal account? Use that and never worry about it until you need to renew your card info.
Didn’t even know they still sold those game time cards.

Set up a subscription then you won’t need a reminder, or set one yourself using the calendar on your phone, I think even gmail as a feature like that.
