Most pvp players here would probably agree that it’s not very fun to match up all the time against the omega S-tier mega class/spec that just happens to be way overtuned from the begining of the season. I also think that it is unacceptable that one spec dominates all game modes for the whole season. So I’m introducing a simple solution to fix some of the pvp balancing issues:
Algorithm based balancing:
- Balancing would only affect the best and the worst performing class/spec every week
- Those two specs will just get a flat 5% healing and damage increase or a decrease based on their perfomance (Is 5% too much or should the percentage be higher at the begining of the season?)
- Performance should be measured by weekly participation within certain rating ranges in different game modes as well as rating gains. (This could be discussed more.)
- This would not replace other balancing patches or updates that has been done by the pvp team
