BFA had excellent world quests. There was tons to do with good item rewards. BFA also had pvp quests where you could earn pvp gear, honor and conquest points and the pvp chest wich sparked large scale open world pvp engagements. Besides the artifact power grind Bfa had the best open world content.
What do we have now? Nothing. Some rep grind with one event (that i missed every single time now) and garbage world quests with rep rewards, exiting.

We do have WQs. Would I like it if they were on a shorter cooldown? Hell yes.
There’s 2 daily PvP WQs actually in DF. You can see them when you have warmode enabled or when you’re in Valdrakken.
Yeah but they only give gold rewards. Bfa had a questchain attatched to it.
I’d like it if WQs reset daily again, any reason not to do that has been completely invalidated by now.
Better rewards can be farmed from primal storms, or mythic+, or raids.
Needing to time-gate renown is false too, people have gotten to maximum renown by now just endlessly handing in relics/totems/trophies, so rushing renown-levels apparently isn’t such a big problem after all, if that’s possible.
So now the season started, just make WQs daily again, anybody who doesn’t want to do them has plenty of alternatives for progression by now.

True. I was surprised how many rep tokens dropped in the raid; they could do that with all factions and even further negate the ‘need’ (as if that existed) for WQs.
Indeed no reason to not make them daily.
We are getting some new world content in 10.0.5 though; hopefully that will fill that ‘daily WQ shaped hole’ that some people have.
BFA did not have PVP quests, Legion did, but some in the community complained so they were not in BFA. The issue I have with DF is that the quests do not reset for 3 days, so you have to wait for them to appear if you do them all.
lol no to daily resets. I have to farm that reputation everyday in all the zones. And no there will be no option for me to not do it so don’t even think otherwise. I am ok with 1 day off then 1 day active. But NO to daily resets.

Why is there no option for you to not do those quests?
Nobody’s physically forcing you (Well, it’s quite unlikely at least) to do dailies every day, and it’s not as if renown gives such utterly unmissable rewards anyway, lots of it is cosmetic stuff.
If Blizzard remove the reputation reward for completing a WQ I won’t give a rat’s a$$ if they are daily or not. As long as they are bound to reputation I am NOT ok with them being daily.
mmm in fact isnt a sigle event. there are many (soup, hunt, siege). The problem i have with them is sometimes (more often than sometimes) it never show up on the map. I just rtemember my fav siege is at 19.00 CE
