Can we have rated 1v1 please

This would be so much fun and could benefit the DPS waiting time for Solo Shuffle a bit. Also way less toxic than most game modes because you rely completely on your own skill and not on luck with how your team mates play.

I fail to see how removing people from the SS queue and putting them into a 1:1 queue would benefit the waiting times for SS, could you elaborate please?

Rogues are not the strongest 1v1 class and definetely cant kill anyone, especially if no pillars and dampening are used in this mode (obviously should not)

Enviroment is crutial for any pvp Mode, there a reason in bgs are all Sorts of LoS Objects.

Completly open field map flat field would be dumb.

Only if healer and tanks can que into dps without dampening

Basically any class without immunity, instant/broken dmg and self heal can’t win other win.

They might not be, but the referencing joke is regarding the fact that they can reset the fight for several rounds by cc / vanish if the rogue wanted too, not to mention sub can literally nuke someone down forcing players to utilize the trinket or any defensive cd whilst rogue laughs at you in stealth in preperation for the 2nd attack.

It’s not relevant if they are the ‘not the strongest’ (which is a very questionable statement anyway), what is relevant is how disgustingly annoying and boring they are to face and how they’d just be able to spam reset and drag games out much much longer than any other class. Exceptional rules would need to apply to Rogues (shock horror) for them to be relatively balanced, for example a 10 second timer on Stealth and/or a debuff applied upon expiry.

Jokes aside, I would love that. Pet battle has some insane variety in gameplay options , if not half was locked behind promo events

Sure, it can be easiely regulated by sightstones that spawns if players remain out of combat for 20 seconds, for example. That will be enough to only wait for a DR, but not cds.Something like on arena, but in no pillars environment rogues will be easy to catch.

Statement that rogues are not the strongest 1v1 class is not questionable because abomination such as frost mage exists.

Now the pala without forbearance on bubble, too.

If you like pvp with healers - its ok. But many players dont. Imo you can be gladiator of every season, but if you lose 1v1 to your class it all worth nothing, because its an mmorpg at the first place.

Rogue really owning without chance only monks and dh, feral has skill match up with any class except warrior, demo lock maybe is primitive and strong, but not unwinnable.

Not how it works. Just because it’s got rough matchups doesn’t mean it’s not the best 1v1 class overall. I’ll destroy any Frost Mage in a 1v1 but then lose to any 1400 rated Assa Rogue or Fury Warrior.

The best 1v1 class is the class that beats the most things overall and I don’t think many classes beat more things than what Rogue does.

Anyway in this case feral still better than rogue, because there is no straight counter.

About thread subj - no one will suffer if blizzard add 1v1 arena, if someone don’t like it just don’t play this mode.

We already have even rated solo bgs, why people can’t have fun in 1v1s.

while idk if im gonna play it or not, i always thought it would have been interesting to have 1v1 arena, probably very engaging to also spectate, commentate and so on, there is alrready tournaments and formats and content creators trying it…

as for everyone who’s “well its gonna be unabalanced” yeah well, rest of the game isn’t?

because healers dont que for 1v1 only dps. so the less dps in solo que the faster ques will be

Maybe because a lot of classes that could survive long sustained duels are no longer capable of doing so.

Literally watch any duel video from 10 years ago and compare them to this this failure of an expansion.

1v1 mode would’ve been amazing in MoP, not so much now. The game makes us rely on healers too much
