Yes, I know, that’s why I said “in structured pvp like battlegrounds and arenas”.
And it’s not enough to do it for pvp items sadly, since pve items are frequently used in pvp.
Not always, and this runs against another peeve of mine - it increases the barrier of entry to activities in the game.
On lots of arena realms was transmogs and i never heared such concerns even from best players 
OK, well, without knowing what “arena realm” means in terms of access to gear and whatnot, that really doesn’t mean anything to me.
Anti-choice is not agency. In a single-player game it’s up to you if you want to sacrifice efficiency for looks, but it’s not really plausible for World of Warcraft due to it’s competitive aspects.
Sure, but roleplaying is a game in and of itself and uses different rules than those of the actual game. If you want to play the actual game and have agency over your looks, you can’t.
