Can we just get dungeon finder already?!

Did you want flying also? Perhaps looking for raid also while we at it?

If a teleporter doesn’t fit in the Alliance fantasy to travel to SM, it doesn’t fit in the Horde fantasy to travel to Gnomeregan either. Then make it magic portal or call it ā€˜divine summon’ if it makes you feel better.

And if it’s ā€˜fine’ for level 30 Alliance to walk to SM through high level and Horde territory across 6 zones (assuming they start at IF) , it would have been ā€˜fine’ for Horde to walk the same distance to Dun Morogh from Tirisfall. Think they simply forgot like giving some Inn’s rested places or stable masters or something went wrong like the Deeprun Tram.

But there are multiple teleporters designed by both gnomes and goblins in azeroth even outside of that specific teleporter.

I’m not completely against the premise that maybe Alliance should have had something similar but I can’t think of anything plausible for any instance. The only thing I can think of is also a teleporter to gnomeragan lol.

Excuse me, but I need to run to Uldaman through a lot of Ally or mostly Ally zones. I don’t whine about it though, I just usually skip that dungeon. Moreover, it’s ugly as hell.

Dungeon finder, double-spec and TBC/WotLK and I will remain subbed forever, Blizzard.

It’s in the past, they fixed it in retail. Merely telling what comes to mind instead of asking for a dungeon finder just to reach SM.

And ye, lore wise you can pull everything from your behind, if you can make a teleporter to gnomeregan from Booty bay, you can put one near SM, simply have a goblin merchant there like they are everywhere. Or simply have a priest at SW cath make a portal and give it a flavour name ā€œDivine Calling/Summonsā€

If there is a will, there is a way. Otherwise not.

Yeah, but when you do uldaman you already have a mount, so it’s basically taking the teleport to Dun Morogh then ride around the corner to badlands, then you take the FP in kargath for the future. Since you outlevel the zones it shouldn’t be a problem.

Well I agree that you can pull lore from your butt but that isnt really what happened with vanilla WoW, right? Goblin presence in Silverpine forest… It’s not the easiest place to stick them!

That’s BS, and you know it, they are in pretty much every zone, tarren mill, wetlands, duskwood, etc all have goblin merchants.

No, incorrect. The first quests for Badlands are given at 35-36 level when you don’t have a mount. When you’re 40, the quests are already green. The riddle to go to Badlands or not without a mount is one I’ve had in my head numerous times. And I usually go after level 40, this is probably the same for most hordes. Which in turn makes the whole region very ally-friendly.

You we’re talking about Uldaman, don’t change your story mid-way. Then you still out level any alliance zone trying to get there.

I know they have a goblin or two but the idea of placing a teleporter would need more than some travelling merchant.

Ye, maybe I got carried away a bit. But still, the journey to SM is not as long from WPL as from Hammerfall (or even Tarren Mill) to Kargath.

Yeah, I would have gone for a portal or maybe a summon ritual, they are already established in game. ez

Wut? why aren’t you taking the teleport to Dun Morogh and walk to Kargath from there? It’s a lot shorter.

And pass so close to Ironforge? No, thanks, I don’t like to be corpse-ganked that much!

Ye, no… you’re not going past IF and the chances of you getting camped are a lot higher in your south-shore>high-lands>wetlands>loch modan>badlands route, you also outlevel any alliance in that zone who is questing.

And you know it… you probably didn’t think about the fast route.

Yeah maybe a little cave quite a bit outside of SM(so it doesnt affect the aesthetic) with a small human party hiding out and preparing an attack on SM would atleast make sense. I think anyway.

I dont think we would be unique in thinking such things though so I think blizzard made the decision for it to be Gnomeragan only.

ā€œA Scarlet mage has defected to the Alliance and has taken refuge in [Insert City Name]. He took a special item when he left and can use it to teleport the players to a spot used by Scarlet mages when they need to traveling quickly.ā€

I’m not saying that it should happen, but in terms of lore it’s fairly straightforward.
