can we like nerf healing/absorb except for hybrid classes and healers? i know the season didnt even start and stuff but i start to dislike this expansion and the amount of healing classes can do passively is just lol
i see ppl healing more passively with DMG DH/Fury than a Balance Druid who has to actively cast
That’s a classic mentality post. Blizzard doesnt aknowledge hybrids as being a thing anymore.
If you queue as dps in a form of pvp content, you are a damage dealer, not a hybrid.
If we go by the same logic, hybrids should do 70% of real pure dps classes, right?
You cant have both same damage as pure dps, but also have healing on top as extra perks.
What they should do instead is level out healing across all dps to lower levels, be them “hybrids” or dh, war, rogue, etc. They already did it to Dks, now keep the same energy for the rest of the outliers.
instant, hp% heals especially from melee - furor/dh/sub - need a reduction, there is just no counterplay and in a burst meta trading damage for burst offheal will also be probably problematic - looking at enh/ret.
But nerfing all def cds itself would also be bad and make some specs feel useless, dk vs melee now is underpowered, vs casters still almost too strong.
Also SP Offheal ist just ridiculous, lock cd of the absorb back to 1m and buffed back in strenght but duration time reduced to ~ 10 sec and probably an armor buff.
Just saying every dps heal needs to be removed is just wrong too. or every spec should get magic , physically immunity on low cds and 2 vanish and some sprints ~
Lets start season and see and nerf/buff from the numbers as soon as possible.
The thing with dark Pact is, the boats does the wrong nerf. They should have nerfed the cdr Talent. Then it works be fair.

And when did I say hybrid classes didnt exists since forever? What are you trying to argue now? What do you mean they dont off heal anything? Enha shammy tops himself off with instants, rets same, most hybrids have some strong instant heals right now ( not all the same, but still).
You do know in vanilla hybrids did half the damage of pure dps classes because they had healing.
Then in wotlk they moved away from that concept and hybrids did the same damage as pure dps specs.
Then as wow progressed further, cata, mop ,wod etc., Hybrids functioned the exact same as pure dps classes in terms of damage, but pure dps classes had to gain the same healing ability as hybrids, because this is FAIR.
So now, you can’t complain that Fury or DH have the same healing powers as Enha or Ret, because Enha and Ret have the same DPS as the other 2 classes now.
If you want to revert back to “only hybrids heal” you would go back to vanilla rules of rock-paper-scissors, and they would have to be much worse in dps terms to compensate.
What the game need is simply more tunning, not reverting back to 15year old design.

Preg heals while doing insane DMG with an Enhancer
Balance is not viable in Wotlk
Cata Ret Heals/Deals insane DMG
Boomie Heals/Deals DMG
