Can we please do something about the boost/carry spammers?

I’m getting tired of /2 being 99% level 1 and 20’s spamming about M± and raid carries/boosts. Many of these sellers appear to be Iranian and from various countries outside of Europe.

Will Blizzard do anything about it? or are we gonna have a Venezuela-type-thing happen in WoW as in OSRS?

Boosters have always been a thing, if they are advertising boosts for ingame gold they aren’t breaking TOS and there is nothing to be done.

If they are advertising a website and or third party services for money outside of Blizzards sphere of influence i suggest you report them since selling ingame stuff (with the exception of TCG stuff) for real money is against TOS

Just move to Outland. I levelled up my alliance warlock there yesterday and the trade chat was nostalgic. It was so dead people were making conversation in trade chat. It was weird

Report them.

“/leave trade” was one my best decision i have ever made in wow

You can only report them for spam, if they’re indeed spamming. But blizz have made it clear boosting for in game gold is a service, and trade chat is for services, so technically they’re doing nothing wrong unless they spam or mention real money.

You can always download a filter add on and set it to exclude all messages from /2 that mention the words “mythic” “boost” together for example. That will make most of them disappear. I can’t remember the name of the add on though.

Badboy and Badboy_CCleaner on twitch. Havent seen a boost message in months

The BadBoy addon is the greatest thing ever

Uuuuuuhhhhh. I got the answer :blush::blush: move the trade chat to another tab to remove the spam :v: Sooooo much better now from my side, not that the trade chat is actually useful nowadays.
