Not for the majority wanting TBC realms. Having played all of classic up to ToC I can say I had most fun in 2019 Classic and TBC Classic phase 1. I just love Outland and it’s dungeons/raids.
Why are TBC haters so against this? It’s not gonna harm their fun on retail/era/hardcore/wrath. Meanwhile the ‘we want tbc realms’ threads that clearly annoy you guys are gonna stop. Win win I’d say.
No you can never eat Burger King again because I think Mcdonalds is better. Sounds the same
It would be a crime if blizz never touches TBC again.
I’m gonna bet that the whole ‘classic’ cycle will just be reset and they will announce servers that go through all expansions with 1.5 year intervals, meaning 1.5y vanilla, 1.5y TBC, 1.5y Wrath. Repeat every 5 years and you have infinite classic.
Because in my opinion a static ERA server of an expansion stuck in the last phase will die out within 6 months. Maybe Vanilla is the exception here, but Wrath will not survive long in that state, that’s for sure.
Some people will always be displeased or say that certain things suck unless it fully accommodates those same people…the world spins that way in this day and age sadly.
The thing is it’s not just a server in a rack and that’s all, there are support staff for both the technical side and the customer service side, the equipment they use costs money too.
Blizzard and customer service, lol. That was long ago.
They just have to up some servers and keep them stable. They don’t care about fighting off bots or providing customer service.
