Can we please have a glyph for Dracthyr to hide dragon form?

Dracthyr needs more body types. Why did they bother to go to all that effort making cool bulky dragon models if they aren’t going to let players use them. Just seems like a waste like the Nathanos model and the upright Forsaken guards.

Well I have and I understand the reasoning behind the limitations, and I agreed and enjoyed them when, like you said, they held to the modern view of that race.

But at this point where certain things were allowed for I guess the sake of having them, my problem lies not within what’s allowed and what isn’t, my problem with this lies in the inconsistency of the current limitations, for instance we know and have seen night elf paladins yet arent allowed to play them, in DF we even see multiple night elves accept the elemental powers and have been able to convince some of them to join us yet we can’t play night elf shamans, but races like zandalari and tauren can be paladins for the sake of having horde and alliance have acces to all classes i suppose.

Still I find this inconsistency to be so irritating I’d much rather they stop trying to justify irt and just go all out and leave that limitation behind because it’s been violated too many times like you’ve shown. Atleast that’s why I think it’s a good change.

But if they instead somehow were able to restrict it back to where the lore was important and relevant to the reasoning I’d be okay with that too, seeing as I do enjoy when your exact pick of race and class matters. I just think we are a bit too far gone so it won’t likely happen.

I don’t think one lorelol forces them to pile on more.

But certainly they’ve messed up, no doubt about that. So it’s nice whenever there’s an oasis of sanity.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I hope that World of Warcraft gets a new server that restores the MMO to it but with new content. One that follows the principles of the original but has the modern world and combat. That game could be pretty good.

We’re getting something pretty neat this evening, but it isn’t exactly what I am looking for. It’s not bad though. It’s a complete break with the current game. I just want some restrictions added back to those who want them on a separate server - and these restrictions would be there to restore the MMO, because MMO’s are definitely defined by some very unique restrictions.

You see the problem is once you introduce Tauren rogues you have Tauren rogue characters. What do you do now? Delete them? Force them to race change? It’s weird. You have to reset to remove, unfortunately. And that server would be it.

Not an excuse, simply coming to the closest possible conclusion of why certain things are and aren’t, like I said, your theory is possible simply unlikely due to the reasoning I gave. But in no way am I defending them and saying it’s unfair of you to want that, it’s not and I think your idea would be cool.

Whenever Blizzard have mentioned it on stage at BlizzCon the whole room laughed. It has been used as a joke in the game multiple times - the whole “tauren rogues exist, they’re just so good nobody has ever seen one” joke.

Like I told the other poster, I really can’t help the fact that you live under a rock. There’s just actually nothing I can do about it.

I agree that the Dracthyr ended up looking more like lizards with wings than dragons. Unfortunately though that’s how they turned out, and to be fair it shows that an experimental race is not compatible with the game’s armor at all.

Would you rather them keep things as they are? Add more barber shop armor? Because its clear that they’re not able to do much else. Dracthyr are new and cool don’t get me wrong, but its a downgrade compared to all other races. If it weren’t for the Evoker class, no one would pick a race that only has barber shop armor… Would druids like their characters to be forced into their forms forever?

Dracthyr were created half mortal and half dragon. If some players would like to lean into the dragon half more, sure why not. And if others want to chill on the mortal side more, what’s the problem? Right?

What’s worse is that the visage looks so good while their actual form looks so terrible. The idea behind the class/race is very good. Their spells are cool, the support spec is mana from God as far as I’m concerned. They can even dragon-fly without a mount (sort of since their abilities don’t refresh but I still made it from the Dragon city all the way to Lomm). But the model is terrible. It’s not even goofy, cause if it were it would have some charm, it’s just, not good.
But I dobut they’ll ever see an upgrade. Look at worgen. People have been asking for way to make them feel more like werewolves and less like furries with top hats and nothing. Silence. So yeah, doubt it’s gonna happen.

Signed, Yes please the Lizard form looks awful but the class actually seems fun to play.
