Can we seprate legion main hand weapons with shields I really want to use a certain shield with a legion artifact for my paladin.
Just seems silly that you can’t.

You can. Shields and weapons are seperate for transmog. Just check the shield tab and sword tab for the weapons.

You can’t I’ve already attempted it when using a legion artifact “Paladin” when using the sword and shield legion artifacts their one single entity and not their own seprate IDs so therefore when you click on the shield OR the sword you’re given both which is silly the only way you can actually do your mog is by equipting the Legion artifact as it seems to have some weird overriding capabilites when equipped.
Oh you mean when you have the legion artifact equipped, you want to be able to transmog them seperately to look like other artifact weapons?
No so for example if I wear a normal sword and shield when transmogging my sword and I choose a weapon which is a legion artifact it will automatically change my shield also and you cannot revert the shield into anything else and its stuck being the corrosponding shield for that legion artifact weapon.
If you check sword and shield tab, then your artifact appereances should be in those seperately and are transmoggable seperately. I just checked my Paladin and it works fine. https://imgur.com/a/1Hx29DH

Edit: Seems like it only happens when not using a mace as a offhand what a weird bug.
You should be able to. There are some minor visual bugs with it, but when you actually transmog it it works correctly.
Do not look in artifacts tab, find shield and weapon in shield and weapon tabs.
Keep in mind that some hammers are in swords tab as they were skins for what is sword.
