Can we quickly show some love to the music and sound design teams?

Easily some of the best music to come out of an expansion
Music and sound design teams once again nailing the themes and ambiance of the zones,
brilliant job especially on Revendreth, the Female vocals are to die for.

I cannot understand how anybody - and I mean anybody at all - who has played this game for more than an expansion, and visited the whole world of Azeroth, can consider either the zones or the music of Shadowlands even near average for WoW.

I know, there’s no point arguing about tastes, and I can understand that different people like different things. I could imagine, for example, someone who likes the Gothic vampire aesthetic and American Halloweens rating Revendreth highly, but I can’t see why such a person would also consider the other zones and music up to older standards. I’m missing something. It eludes me.

Am I right in thinking the Ardenweald theme is a riff on “Stranger in Paradise”?

/love

Only cos it has to be 10 words…

I turned off ingame music in TBC and haven’t turned it on since…
Where all men cry was the first time I’ve ever heard the MoP login music…

I turned off in game music a while ago too, I occasionally put it on via youtube though. Habit I picked up from final fantasy days.
Mmm, this music is good.
Battle music takes over.
Old music has started over.
Battle music takes over again.
… Okay, I’ll just play the song on youtube. D=

I kind of agree. I’ve been farming reputation in Talador and the music is beaufitul, nothing in Shadowlands even comes close.
