Assassination Rogue having 2 charges of Shadow Step gives them 100% up time and given the damage / Healing reduction / CC. this shouldn’t be the case.
Double the CD of shadow step or remove Double cahrge

R u out of your mind bruv? Can i get a Shadenox or any other rogue specialist to explain this man how hard it is for rogues to make it work nowdays and how absolutely necessary it is to have 2 steps.
If you are wanting to complain about melee mobility, talk about warriors first.
You don’t need a Shadenox to tell you that rogue isn’t the best class rn. Every rogue i get in a lobby (and i very rarely get one to begin with) goes out with 1 win at best. I was in a lobby with Shadenox at some point too and trust me, he wasn’t enjoying that at all.
Hahahahaha good one
Melee mobility overall is too much, but Rogue is … not the highest on the list. Warrior, Monk, DH, all of these have way, way more.
In general though I might like to see stuff such as double shs, double charge, triple roll, felblade double dash, and so on, nerfed a bit, alongside some caster escapes (such as Soulburn port every 30s for instance). In short, smack that power creep (or mobility creep, in that case) down across the board a little so the game becomes a bit more “tactical” again as opposed to “mash mobility spells really hard so you have full uptime as melee or deny uptime all the time as Mage/Warlock, and then just win the game through the sheer pressure that generates”.
If you want specific tips in order to manage the outrageous 2x 30s CD step when 2x 17s Charge + 1x 30s CD leap isn’t an issue for you, then just attack the Rogue. In the current game a Rogue could secure a really nice uptime on most classes if it had infinite HP. But the issue right now is that the meta spec, Assa, gets completely obliterated by everybody and has to run back to avoid death, step defensively and so on. This is how you get him off of you. This doesn’t work with Arms or such specs, as well, since they don’t really die while also being more mobile. Don’t forget to open a thread about it. Apparently, your contributions are meaningful.
Yes, it wasn’t very very fun. It … didn’t help that all 3 DPS happened to break every single Blind in the entire lobby, I had to cry and stuff afterwards. I also had a nightlare of the Mage dr poly’ing someone who was standing in his own blizzard. It was truly a dark day.
They love to have a name to spit rudeness at, it eases the feeling of being … not good, to be polite. Typical behavior of mediocre people, and that goes beyond the scope of video games. Why try to be better when you can attempt to diminish others instead !
Proof by example, look at who leaps into the thread while being the moost hardqtuck and boosted at the same time, just to try and hop onto an attack at me because it makes him feel better. Crazy how that works.
I didn’t mean that in a condescending way or to make fun of you btw. Not that i would assume you to be thinking that but i just want to make it clear. Playing rogue in the current meta is just pure pain, especially in shuffle. Crying about rogue currently is actually just sad.
Also i kinda remember that i didn’t break your blinds, just one sap because i realized a millisecond too late.
I didn’t take it that way, no worries! It is a fact that the lobby wasn’t fun at all.
Hm yeah, one or the other happened with you, I know something cool broke but it is w.e, especially as Demo. The other two guys tho actually attacked it when it was clearly a win con but well. They also lose the round then, so I can live with it.
I don’t know how they’ll make Rogue nice to play in the upcoming season. Offensively, it is unchanged right now and I’d even say the tier sets look like they don’t bring more than the current ones at all, less sometimes even, and defensively … it is barely touched and rather mediocre. With the CC changes, I really wonder how it’ll turn out. I personally like to play more setup with Hunters or Mages or SP (when they setup and not when they just kill the map alone), but it looks like the way to play will mostly be pure PvE Rogue + Frost or Rogue + Warlock, which is a bit … well, lets say if I want to play like a Warrior I play a Warrior, I don’t play on my Rogue.
1 season out of 35 they are not the top gs doesnt make ppl forget the other 34.
But yea rog rn is not good still won awc cause whaazz is the rog goat.
And shadenox still made itnwork for his shuffle r1 push but other rogs didnt idk if he even played a game after ret buffs.
And drakkiz u play prot pala mainly you have 0.0 right to complain in my eyes.
Not even half of the season!
And we shouldn’t forget that rogue was until 10.0.7 so overtuned that they needed to nerf it 5 times and it was still S tier.
Poor Rogues.
DF is the first expansion they broke the “status quo” with regards to rogue mobility.
Back in wrath, assa even had no gap closers at all! Just good old sprint…
Then, they got 1 shadowstep, while sub had 2 charges.
The justification was always that assa’s damage was going on even when not on target, while sub needs to be on target to do any damage.
And finally, with DF they gave assa 2 charges, and this was one of the main reasons it overperformed sub.
During SL assa was strong, but very easy to kite, now not so much.
I think when assa is very strong, 2 charges of shadowstep feel very OP, but when the meta is such as today’s, it feels fine honestly.
'Course I did.
The more stupid players play certain class, the more mobility they need
I agree on this one. There is way too much mobility on both ends but at the same time I don’t think it’s ever going to change. Why? M+ and unified talents. The problem is that M+ is timed content and this extra mobility allows players to time their keys. There is no world where Blizzard sacrifices it to benefit PvP. Also they tried some compensation with consumables but there was a backlash from M+ community “why do I have to buy potions and others don’t?”.
This also venruki said the devs don’t wanna split pve/pvp cause they don’t want every spec to play differently and have different build, so I assume the situation will never change and can go only in a terrible side.
Exactly. On top of it there was a recent Twitter drama where M+ players wanted to get gladiator mount as KSM one is ugly. It will be only worse. On top of it they behave like a doctor who treats symptoms instead of a root cause.
Yeah saw it, what should I say… Next step would be to give glad mount in epic bg or skirmish if we listen to the community.
If they listen to the community, they could just go ahead and put down a vendor where you could buy everything for 1gold (maybe too much for them?) per item.
Want glad mount? 1gold! etc.
Yeah maybe, but we still should be objective towards the current state. What you do with and how you feel about it is a completely different story.
