Can we slow down?

Steady flight gives me the same connection as being grounded. That whizzy flying however can do one.

So you like to be artificially slowed down while paying for it… Odd.

Whats stopping you to not fly?

nah bud. Its fine where it is.

Just give us Diablo World Tiers already.

I rather am on another instance layer with players on a different world difficulty, getting better rewards for that than just having the world feel obsolete.

Also, you solo players… Think about it as well. That would be YOUR way to get good gear too. WITHOUT people.

Its in Remix Legion… and Delves say hi.

I suppose the world is mainly for gathering as is now, that’s the best use of it.
The second best use is for quests to rack up faction to get mounted and other regalia.
The tertiary use is for leveling. Or idk how others do but I suspect they go dgs. I just level through the world, running around. It’s alright cause I get faction with factions I have no clue what they are until I hit the vendor and see what is offered: faction = mount vendor.
So yeah, maybe do something.

ofc, but it doesn’t help the world.

That would be great, but then there’s open PvP objectives so we kinda end up hanging cause we got a common goal: kill and stop the other guys. So we’re buddies then, without having to be buds; perfect.
Like I’d see a solo rogue in yonder, being assailed by two bandits. I sweep in and save the day. We celebrate briefly by looting and then part ways. The dream.
People is necessary but they’re completely disagreeable, unfortunately; so best is if distance is kept with a few open objectives we share and can agree on. Interdependency is largely irritating. Better is common cause.

Mmmh, it’s not about the type of flight to me.
I just have noticed that you learn more about and connect more with a zone when you spend your time on the ground there. Others may have a different experience; I’m only talking about my own experience of course.

But yeah: On the other hand I do enjoy the convenience of being able to take to the skies from the get-go.

So it’s a double edged sword to me.

What I am certain about, is that steady flight should be available from the get-go as well, if skyriding is.

Bad idea, I like leveling, if I want that kind of game I could just fire up a MOBA, or something like Gunfire Reborn…

Sorry I got to ask Ion is that you… lol That is nearly word for word when they took flying mounts away to “earn” them back Was it WoD :stuck_out_tongue:

Why do you like leveling and why does earning a level mean more than just doing the content? What is the difference?

Really?
I wasn’t playing at the time. I did rejoin the game in WoD, but after the whole flying debacle played out.

Well, it’s how I feel about it. I really noticed the difference in DF.
In TWW less so, because I don’t like most of the zones; so yeah… Different context than in DF.

Just poking fun lol… But yeah he said something close to that… That how the world is better grounded… Then they added in the grind to fly again…

Isn’t this a seasonal game? You’re talking like we’re playing an MMORPG. :skull:

The Future Is Now, Old Man”, the developers have fully cultivated a player base that will be happy with artificial progression and the seasonal “hamster wheel”.

Because my days of doing end game group content are over, these days I just like to levels alts.

So question still stands… take away the levels what changes.

Probably not much for people focused on endgame stuff, but I would quit if they take that away.

Don’t dodge… What changes without levels… Level scaling is here so you can’t get stronger vs mobs… So again without numbers going up what changes?

I completely agree with every single point, however…

Can we slow down?

No.

I actually started to respond to these questions. I actually 100% with your first question.

After that, I was kind of like, well you could play Classic if you want that… and then as I moved down the list, I kind of just realised you were playing the wrong game.

WoW is fine the way it is. It’s on a bit of a downer at the moment with the focus on Delves and Playerhousing, but I’m sure it will get back to it’s former glory.

That I basically feel like I have nothing to do besides rep grind?
