why are we not banning these ??? you scroll down trying to find a key these days half the LFG is WTS something and then a link to they’rewebsite , which i have no clue on why those guys are not getting perma account banned or even ip wide banned since its stricly againts TOS …
and then the other half is Resil - Note tip - WTF ? like why do we have to sift through 20 different pointless listed keys to find one thats relavant ?
is there an addon to filter this stuff out btw ?
Dont join those keys. The people that get accepted are those that pay. Not necessarily those that are best suited to time the key.
Just play your own key. That’s the best option you got.

If they ask for a tip just report. Its a bannable offense. Tips and all that are covered and even called out specifically in article 187406 (in-game advertising). It was added in direct response to when this whole tip nonsense started and apparently some people still didnt get the memo.
i do report them but they still pop up when im on an alt account or something which means they are not getting banned , i feel like they are not banning them on purpose they are gaining something from this . they should be bannable

Well that is kinda weird. All the “notes” I see are from +17 and +18 keys.
Making a new toon. And boosting him to 3600 rio to get a resi+18… sounds like a lot of work…
yeah i was just about to say the same thing , i dont think they are banning any of them at all … you aint making a new account and get resil up to 16–18 range thats alot of work
you first have to gear then you have to push , they aint getting that done quickly , maybe with premades ? but i doubt it
Just ignore them, I cba to care that they are there. I just ignore any form of spam, just like when I create a new character, my first action is to /leave both Trade (spam ) chats

They are relying on their automated system to ban/silence for them (the system is bad, prone to abuse, and too slow). At least for this kind of stuff.
As for the IP bans: Pointless. I can change my IP in the span of a second. Hardware (ID) bans arent effective either and get circumvent constantly.
And its also possible that a countries law would interfere if a perma ban could be deemed way overboard (asking for a tip in the note and getting permad while having a clean record before that for example). A temp ban is less likely to invoke a legal “battle” (it wouldnt take long) for a number of reasons.
Theres also the thing that courts (EU and US) have ruled that practically nobody is reading ToS and companies have to keep that in mind.
i dont think they have any automated system at all tbh , like the report system is not automated you can report someone endlessly and they will not get banned we tried once as like a 40 man or something and the reason was valid and he still didnt get banned untill like days later ( he was stealing instance info ) where finally a GM manually adressed it
i strontgly dont think they have any automated system at all for banning or suspending they do everything manually . they might have those system triggering certain stuff but the final decision is manual
They do. We know that. We’ve called them out on it (and still do) ever since it was first implemented in WoD. If enough report you (especially in close succession) for example you will be force disconnected and will receive a silence.
Your 40man example may have been dealing with someone that was already flagged prior and in this case received a harder punishment (or you did it during classic as otherwise I sincerely doubt you managed to 40man report someone at once. Not even in a BG). A silence is automated, a ban is manual (and in most cases just gets hit with an “approve” and the person isnt reading the actual case. Plenty of cases where stuff got overruled after an appeal).

In high keys, you want to time the key. So you invite the best people, not the ones with the most Gs. You can use any metric you want to decide what “best people is”. Gold is definetly not one of them.
So it’s throwing money away to a key that, while resi, has a higher chance of not being timed.
The way to kill those idiots is to simply not give them money. They can sit all day in LFG with their dumb “note” but if nobody applies… then whatever… people can waste their time hoever they want.
i mean i dont even care about the whole gold thing , they just make the whole list look like a mess , i constantly have to look at which key dosnt have that note thingy in discription and which one dosnt …
but its what ever i just stopped doing keys again i literally gave up after like 2 hours , gonna try fellowship 
this game is just unplayable when it comes to m+
Way more enjoyable than WoW m+. This season is a total mess. Enjoy the vacation, maybe Midnight m+ will be better.
Just set minimum mythic rating to 1 as these advertisements always happen at 0 mythic rating, you can do this while searching for groups, its not needed for listing your own group.
