Can we talk about Healing Scaling?

Hey, I guess we’ve all noticed this, but for whoever it’s not clear what I’m talking about is that healing has been massively nerfed with the new expansion.

In Dragonflight, my monk would be able to fully heal someone in 3-4 Vivifies (less if I crit). In TWW, my monk’s Vivify heals about 5-7% of my hp (non-crit).

The thing that is most impactful for healers is dungeons and scaling: A lower lvl player than me takes considerably less healing that what I can do, the logic would be that their total HP is lesser, so it evens out right? Massively wrong, this scaling issue is most visible at lvl 70-80, a fresh lvl 70 healer CANNOT heal in any dungeons without being very overgeared for it.

Example:
Lvl 72 Healer Druid: ~400ilvl, ~500k HP
Lvl 74 Tank Druid: -450ilvl, ~1200k HP
Regrowth crits on the tank, from the healer, did lower than 5% of the Tank’s HP. Other hots can be considered useless because they heal for less than 1% altogether.

I do not know how scaling is handled, but it’s handled very poorly. If they nerfed they players that started TWW with DF Mythic Raid gear to “make the content not so easy”, they KILLED the players with little to no gear that start the expansion.

Also, more rant: How are HoTs worse than instant heals? Isn’t the whole idea of the HoT that it should heal more over time than 1 cast of a instant heal? Because you choose between: Heal now and heal low or heal big, but over long time.
Monk’s biggest HoT does 160k over 7s, but Vivify does 200k+ and it costs less mana and most of the time it’s instant cast.
Resto druids have it worse, they don’t have Healing Touch, Nourish is not a thing you choose cause of Treants… And all the HoTs they do feel so useless… Unless you put 4-5 hots on someone their HP bar does not move!

TL,DR: Scaling very bad, makes healers feel useless in group content. Healing gameplay doesn’t make sense anymore.

The worst part is healing in Mythic dungeons… Mythics need to be nerfed hard, feels like a second job…except here you pay to work instead of getting paid/rewarded… why wouldn’t people quit n wait for next patch n then get through this swamp then more easily with better gear?

Wait what m0 a second job? Why? I mean they are not like undoable
