Hello Everyone, gilvion here.
I uhh kinda am dissapointed in some of our performances… specifically the mythic plus scene.
So I’ve navigated my fair share of m+ in the recent times (mostly since shadowlands every season kinda), and although it happened a couple times I never really payed attention to any toxicity, not my style at all, though i know my way around.
But unfortuantely it seems to be getting progressively worse. I have friend that range from previous number one on their class to beginners who are trying to do healing or tank, even dps at this point.
All of them almost on a daily send me atleast one or two toxic experiences in their keys, including vods where they ask if they are in the wrong or not. Sometimes yes mistakes happen, but i really dislike that its happened on such a high frequency that they feel the need to record the keys, just in case they get randomly reported and banned. (Happened to one of us a year a go or so, which is why we record) It’s such a fun killer when this happens and its too often to ignore at this point.
Listen… I understand the competetive spirit, there is a rank involved and seeing that number go up or a piece of gear drop makes teh dopamine in our brains go brrrrr and that feeling, phew what a rush, i do play this much because i love it and in the end the experience in itself is still fun to me.
But please, i know alot of you maybe dont and its just a very loud minority. And there is always the argument that blizzard could just make easier dungeons so a few mistakes wouldnt cause a wipe, and thats a totally fair argument, but that doesnt excuse some of the things that are being said to people.
So I would like to ask, even if its slow even if its just one little message not sent here or there. Please can we try to improve this, for the longevity of the game and community cause the tank/healer situation is probably only gonna get worse if nothing is done.
So I urge you, to just think a little more before sending some unhelpful and nasty thing, just a little, im not asking for a full 180, thats inhuman and not how we work, but just try a little here or there to make the experience for others a little better.
Sorry for the rant but I really just want to talk about it cause it does affect those it reaches.
