It would be fun to have two different brackets for 2v2.
One open to dps/healer comps, and one only for dps/dps comps.
If only as an experiment. If both brackets were to thrive and see a lot of participation all would be good. If one of the brackets were to struggle with long queue times and low participation, that would be a very clear indication that that bracket was less desirable.
If it was possible to select that you play as dps/dps, and only queue into other dps/dps teams, and that left dps/healer teams struggling to find games, it would be a pretty clear indication of what people would prefer to play if they weren’t forced to go dps/healer to not just get farmed.
We also need 1v1 mode, with possibility to q versus bot, it would be a pretty clear indication of what people would prefer to play if they weren’t forced to put any effort at all
And also all glad rewards should be farmable at this mode
2v2 at the moment feels so unbalanced and class-gatekept that I’ve list all interest playing that garbage arena bracket, even if its the only one I enjoy playing.
In the meantime, the top 10 healers in US 2s are 1 holy pala (1st), 7 evokers, then 1 disc and then another evoker. B tier for sure, just sayin’. In EU 2s, there’s an equal amount of disc priests and evokers, and less holy pala → basically 1 disc followed by 3 evokers, then 3 disc, then 2 evokers, 2 holy palas, another evoker, then first resto druid.
You’re moaning about power differences not about “coolness factor” or whatever else makes representation, which makes the top of the ladder the most relevant thing possible. The top of the ladder is in a balanced spot in terms of healers, while for the rest of us that are not at the top of the ladder it’s clearly a skill issue since we’re not up there. So you asking for nerfs while playing the best healer in the bracket already is hilarious. You already have all the tools required to progress as proven already by other players who do make it there at the very top, and instead of learning to use them properly you’re asking for nerfs for other classes on the forums. Great use of your time.
You’re also comparing some classes that existed since day 1 in the game with some classes that have only been around for 1 expansion, like Evoker, or classes that never really made headway with player masses like Monk (unlike DK and DH, Monks have never been a particularly popular class that many players play). Simply put, there are far more Priests, Druids, Paladins and Shamans than there are Monks and Evokers - and even if in the total number of characters you’ll find some more Monks and Evokers, you never ask yourself how many people actually play those as mains or at least as alts they spend some time on. I, for example, have both Monk and Evoker leveled at max level, but don’t actively play either of them.
If there is anyone with a real case for complaint in 2s, it’s Resto Shaman and Holy Priest at the moment, which are truly underperforming, but that’s about it.
Good thing you’re not a dev then, you’d mess up the game even more.
Dont you mean 1v2 if the talk is of 2v2. As the disc being 2nd dps and all that. Surely it is not so op that it would feel as two characters instead of one
this isn’t a disc problem its a class design problem and 3s has it as well. the only reason you’re upset about disc is that its the one thing standing in your way as a prevoker
I literally play more disc than evoker. The problem with disc is, that it has a toxic playstlye and has overtuned numbers while being easy to play. Disc has literally no set up, just have your dots auto spread with penance and spam shields.
There isnt even a risk of wasting heal as a shield will always get its full value. Not even talking about how strong voidweaver is in a setting that doesnt allow proper punishment for it unlike 3s.
I dont even know whats the argument against nerfing voidweaver disc, which is literally only relevant in 2s. Even without it, normal disc will still be top tier in 2s and 3s.
Its not even about making disc unplayable but making playing against it a better and more fair experience, while also allowing more varity in a bracket that already lacks player numbers.

Dam, seems like more Disc joining day after day.
We are now at : 55,8% of all Healer in 2s. Thats 13% more than 3 Days Ago.
Nothing to see here, clear skill issue since (checks notes) since they are only 4 out of 10 Healer over 2,4.
I really wish we also had the winrates for each healer.
