No no no! I will not allow for the tuskarrs to be degraded into goldshire furries and dancers! They deserve to be among the glorious races of the mighty horde in service of protecting azeroth against her enemies!
Tuskarr for Horde
Vrykul (not you Kultirans) for Alliance
Id be totes +1 that idea and play the sh!t out of the game.
The Vrykul would also be cool but how would they ally with us?
For the sole reason that they are related to humans and Kultirans.
Blizzard always finds a way to create odd lore to make things happen in the game.
Yeah i would also like to roleplay as a viking. In fact, i would like to roleplay as dovahkiin
It would be a great idea because it would not only finally seal their history with humans and kultirans but it would also bring the Elder Scrolls fans in to the game.
You see? Both tuskarr and vrykul are great way to bring back players to the game
And with that, both factions could have Dragon Rider fights.
Damn, the opportunitiesâŚ
wich is why it would be a cool alled race for the pandaren slot, alot of allied races look similair t others
I donât see that Pandarenâs need to be removed. If you donât like them, donât play them but those that have levelled their pandaren are entitled to have them
Personally Iâm not a fan of the neutral race thing either.
im not saying i hate them lol, this char was a pandaren until kulthirans came out to. I mean every race appearently had some emisarry in their ambassy wich was said to each have a connection to an allied race. With the horde and the alliance being at peace again the pandaren emmisaries might add a neutral allied race. Tuskarr would fit that nicely, especially if we end up returning to some wotlk zones for the shadowlands expansion (assuming thats really the next one). I would love to play them but in all honestly sethrakk and ankoan seem more likely for the last slots now
Wouldnât it be a bit too many animal-based races at a certain point?
well like 75% of all races blizz seems to design are animal races, playable and non playable. Compared to that we get alot of elf and human like races instead
People complain about too many human-based races at the moment, so at least animals give variety. What other options are there? Insect-based races? Do insects count as animals
I think if we get tuskaar they could be a neutral allied race. Even more since their model would likely be based around the pandaren ones.
Donât they? They are not plants or minerals.
Btw thatâs actually an idea we do have plant or rock-based races in WoW donât we? And we still have ogres, that are humanoids but definitely not human-based. Or etherelas. Itâs not like we have no other choice
Tuskarr would make a lot of sense for the Pandaren Allied Race; Youâd need to make a new model for them to be playable, and the Pandaren rig is probably the best candidate (Whether they were an AR or not). Theyâve even got a similar chill attitude to life, which could be good for the recruitment scenario.
Since theyâre separated into different tribes, they could also work pretty well as a neutral race. One tribe would side with the Horde and another with the Alliance. Perhaps the Tushui could help one tribe make peace with the Wolvar, whilst the Huojin help another tribe to drive them back forcefully?
Another thing to consider is that Tuskarr have human-level intelligence, which so far every Allied Race has had, which would seem to make them more workable than things like Gnolls and Murlocs.
I always have wanted races like tuskarr, ogres and furbolg to be playable. I wouldnt mind playing a gnoll or quillboar either if given the chance. All races (except the tuskarr i think) have been ingame since wc3 and some were either mercenaries or allied with some faction lore wise. Ogres with the horde and furbolg with the night elves while in wow you see gnolls and quilboars as pirates and venture co mercs
Actually, tuskarr were also in WC3
