I need WA as my hearing is very bad so i need lots of visuals to help me play and my brain is far from smooth so i find what you say rather insulting to people with disabilities.
See the above post
You are, like it or not, a negligible minority in this
I would say I am sorry, but it would be a lie and as you can see I am a honest person
So no, I care just as much about you as you care about me - none
Addons are a cancer in MMO’s and look in to my eyes and tell me without it the majority would not die like mayflies
Or not, actually I don’t really care, just told my oppinion
There are who agree with it, others are not
Thats life for you
Well comparing addons to cancer is rather overboard and uncalled for and i respect your view no idea why you are being so blunt and harsh about things but i shall leave you be as anyone using cancer to describe something like you are is not to be reasoned with have a great rest of Monday.
People like you shouldn’t be allowed to voice their opinion about a topic that they obviously NEVER will interact with.
Banning addons / WAs isn’t the solution, it’s a bandaid on a broken system. With each comment you prove how uninformed you are. You never interact with mandatory WAs, yet you preach it like the gospel.
And how is the map addon that shows me stuff and the one that makes my minimap pretty a cancer?
I don’t want to be like him believe me.
But the person I asked was talking about add-ons in general like many others did in this post.
To be honest I don’t find anything wrong with addons, even ones that help in combat, as Blizzard doesn’t make mechanics that can be solved without them.
As soon as attacks are telegraphed clearly, buffs, debuffs tracked easily, and some of the more complex mechanics have “in-game” UI elements to make them visible to players, THEN we talk about banning combat addons.
From a certain point of view it make sense
I mean if the game would have a feature that would allow you to costumize your minimap you would like we wouldn’t need addons like that or like TRP3
In that sense Addons really hinder progress and developement
Instead bandaids they would have to resolve the issues and include these things… or face the player’s wrath
Yeah I am sometimes naive
But that is the nice nativity.
It would be best if blizzard would provide us with everything we make add-ons for but that is just not realistic.
There would probably be a big percentage that they would not include
It is a gamedesign decision that we can customize our game. Blizz sees it as a positive. Everyone can do what they want. Allthough they have put for Dragonflight a lot work into changing the default UI and extra options.
