Can you ease up on trial restrictions?

First of it should be 60 not 20.
Then you got all the 99% useless enchants and self crafted items, which are 50% of the ilvl of any dungeon. What’s the motivation for anyone to get into the game is their first reaction to crafting is that everything is useless trash?

Then the enchanting restrictions, at 20 all you blue dungeon gear is i61 (i87 warforged) and guess what the target ilvl limitations are for any somewhat useful enchants? Yup. 61. Just to slap you in the face. Not to mention hidden satyr on neck gives you barely a 5% total dmg increase, you need to farm 15 chaos crystals. FIFTEEN!!! Trial can’t use AH, can’t enter raids to get epic loot to DE gear to get any… the best chance you have is to literally kill 100,000 mobs and hope a boE epic drops and then that it drops a chaos crystal, and then repeat that 14 more times… only to get a 5% dmg enchant on your neck item… WHICH IS ONE LEVEL TOO HIGH TO BE ENCHANTED.

WHY DO YOU BRICKWALL PEOPLE THIS HARD.
This is insane…

You wanna know how new people on trial feel?

  • can’t talk
  • can’t whisper
  • can’t join a guild
  • can’t use mailbox
  • can’t use ah
  • can’t get anything out of professions
  • can’t fly
  • can’t check out any raids
  • can’t enter 50% of all dungeons across every expansion
  • can’t can’t can’t NO NO NO NO NO NO BLOCKED BLOCKED BLOCKED!!!

This is so insane when you are the most money making game out there, which should be fully free of a monthly sub, or having to buy the game, pick one you can’t have both you greedy pigs. And then you still giga cuck trial users to literally shun any new players away.

You need to rework enchants to be appliable on all items from i1 to i200 no restrictions, then raise lvl cap to 50 if not 60, gold cap to 10k, and allow players to AT LEAST LOOK INTO THE AH, and maybe buy /sell 1 item per day, and use the mailbox to send stuff to alts.

PS. oh yeah forgot: can oyu fix the SL items? They are still bugged, you can’t disenchant them at 20, because regardless of their displayed ilvl they are something way higher, having some “hidden internal value” that gives you a error msg when you try to DE it. Can’t even level SL enchanting thanks man…

No thanks, the trial restriction is fine, why should people be able to get to the last expansion for free? Not even FF14 allows that.

I understand that those restrictions are massive and counter productive when it comes to getting players invested but you also have to understand that these restrictions prevent SPAM bots or bots in general to create free accounts.

It clearly works, as the longest running MMO with the amount of subs it still has, this just stinks of “Abolish the sub fee now” garbage

60 i think is far to high but i agree SOME should be lifted but end of the day you want to play you need to paye :frowning:

WoW makes sense being Free to play

Don´t get me wrong by having 3 worst PvE/Raiding expansions in a row

because suffering for 5 years having the worst PvE expansions don´t make even sense at all

Your proof of this is three threads - which are repeated every expansion release, means WoW should be f2p? What reality do you live in?

Edit: I also don’t class Vinzora’s opinion as anything of note, he does nothing beyond whinge

Subscription-free MMOs sound good on paper, but in execution they are rather bad. If you look at ESO as an example, it sounds great. You buy the game and can play for free permanently if you want to, but having a subscription gives you benefits you don’t want to miss out on like double storage for your bank and inventory, and an INFINITE reagent bag.
Now these don’t sound like a big deal to most people, but if you played ESO you’d understand how you simply can’t live without them, so you end up forking out for the subscription anyway. Eventually your bank and inventory is completely full, so if you let your sub lapse you can’t move items around so end up re-subbing. It’s the work of an evil mastermind, I tell you.
Also you get stuck with loot boxes (aka Crown Crates in ESO). All the best cosmetics and mounts are hidden inside them. It’s a complete scam but people spend hundreds on them anyway. Some poor kid went broke and is currently paying off 3 separate loans because they wanted a mount from the limited time loot crates (seasonal). I hate it.

As for the OP, while I agree 20 is a little low to really experience much, 60 is too high. I’d cap it at 30. Will give them enough time to give it a decent go and experience flying around.

wait, 40 lvl that can farm Cata and MoP raid tmogs but 30 might not be able to solo Vanilla, TBC and Wrath Raids for tmog looking

level 30 that are able to Fly everywhere except BFA, Shadowlands

making lvl 50 that can solo WoD and legion raids in Normal, but lvl 50 gets killed in Mythic Nighthold for example

But the Allied races should be free already, without achievement from their campaign quests

What another problem is they can´t send a message to Trade chat or General channel

If people would stop using trial accounts as RMT bot spam and questionable activities on RP servers, then there wouldn’t be a need to restrict it.

There are alot of Sub paying players who play in the realms of 1-60, and don’t buy the current expansion.

Why would Blizzard want to lose out on those Subscriptions.

The reality is, you’re just asking for a free to play game, which isn’t what people want.

As others have said, the Trial restrictions are in place to protect the community from Bots and Scammers.

0-20 is enough to get a feel for the game. After that paying a subscription will open the world up for you to explore, then buying the expansion will unlock all the latest content.

Yes, because we pay their games with 13€ every month and trying to enjoy PvP, Dungeoning or Raiding

But PvP is trashy in DF, since Solo shuffle is a failure and DPS will spend every 30 mins to get every single solo shuffle

DF dungeons are so boring and too long

But if you get me wrong about my posts, then ignore it.

The answer is simple then: If you don’t like what is being given, then… stop paying?

This is how every form of subscription service operates. Netflix for example.

Yep but Netflix is fine to have subscription since they don´t design anything bad

While I enjoy the movies so much, especially The warcraft movie which came from 2016 which told the story the Dark Portal began or the first War

The Warcraft movie that was released is absolutely non-canon, and that’s not really an opnion.

I’m not talking about fan made movies. They’re also obviously not canon.
