I enjoy the voice of some of my characters and I spam a lot of emotes during Battlegrounds. Can you get banned/silenced for that if ppl report your emotes as spam?
You can turn off emotes in chat from the chat settings but some guys who didnt , may report emote-spam.
Do you get automatic account silence/squelch if you get reported for “spamming” by 10 ppl or it works only on reporting for “language”?
The silence happens automatically if you’re reported by enough people within a short amount of time, yes. It doesn’t matter what you are reported for.
This is how RBG’s are being exploited so that people can “kick” someone off from the enemy team.
You mean like /roar and stuff?
That’s not against a rule.
But the silence feature is 100% automated so if an entire BG reported you (which is unlikely in randoms) I wouldn’t be surprised if you get muted.

You can still play even if you get acc-silence.
I love it when premades abuse this feature in rbgs. Happened in AV(event), wsg, etc. They just mass flag the enemy team healers and you won with even less effort

You get kicked from the battleground I believe. It’s a big issue for people who cares about rated battlegrounds.
Depends on how much spam, if it’s making it so others cannot read chat while around you like being able to read or make call outs then I could see that being disruptive.

No but there’s an ignore button which blocks it, but yeah any chain reports will automatically silence you if its done by multiple people.
