It sounds like the way you describe current World of Warcraft that it might still scare you.
Didn’t you admit in a comment that you liked this at first but grew out of it? I don’t care about whimsical stuff thats a side quest here and there, but the whole expansion has been reduced to that setting. Dragons aren’t mighty or imposing creatures, they’re sassy pets that can transform into a human. It’s ridiculous. It’s an insult to fantasy itself.
12 pegi rating? You could turn Dragonflight into a show and it would be available to all audiences from 3+. Could literally just launch it on Nickelodeon junior.
It’s the way you choose to voice your opinion. You voice it like a child. Blame it on Disney and it being childish. What happened to “This is not for me - Can we see more of this?/this is what is lacking” etc. There are plenty of ways to word yourself that won’t make you sounds like a child with age complexity issues.
I don’t like Sendrax either. I too, cringed, but it was worse on the beta, I promise. I did not like the Ardenweald campaign either. I get it, but wording… and judging everything from a tiny bit of story is how a child would usually do it. Yes, it is unfortunate that Sendrax is the first thing you meet when you arrive the isles, but you too, should know that Blizzard can do both really well, and sometimes bad on the story. Try to at least be constructive in your critisism, and perhaps inform them more of what you feel lacking. Yes, I saw you did wish we could tame them. Do more of that than “Boo, Disney”.
If that’s what you got out of my posts, you need to go back to school my dude.
No?
I’ve just always liked WoW in one form or another. But I like a bit of variation; it doesn’t always need to be dark and gloomy; and we’ve just had years of dark and gloomy.
So accept it and don’t be greedy by wanting it your way all the time, I suppose.
I simply don’t agree with that assessment. There’s plenty of serious stuff in there.
I think you’re biased and you’re looking for it; and that changes your view. You are unable to look at it in an objective manner.
Disagree. You can feel like that; but I will choose to ignore your ridiculous negativity.
That’s just nonsense. There’s themes and events that totally wouldn’t get passed the ratings censorship. You’re just talking hyperbole.
There’s a middle ground, the whole grimdark schtick got boring halfway through BfA, but Blizz overcompensated a bit with parts of DF.
You might have had a good point, but it’s parroting the Disney-comparison and the “I knew it by the time i got my first dragon”-thing that makes it all ring a bit hollow, but all that doesn’t matter, your question is answered: You have to go through the “Humiliation ritual” if you want to get anywhere.
Just skip cinematics and click “accept” to any quests, if you can handle mature content, you can also grit your teeth and get through this (It’s what i did with everything involving the Maw), the dragons believe in you, you can do it!
Honestly to they give out a script with key ‘buzz phases’ in moaning school? All these threads are the same. Dragon Flight story line was fine, it was not much different in tone from anything we have had since Legion. If you don’t like that tone you’ve had 4 expansions and 7 years to work it out. Maybe do something else you don’t hate.
Your first character needs to do the main storyline so that you unlock everything like WQs. Alts you can just do whatever you want. The WQs are nice for alt levelling cos you can just pick and choose what you want to do.
Play Overwatch you can pick a ready made character. No leveling needed. Leveling is a staple of an MMO. (I also believe boosts should only be allowed if you have leveled that class before.)
Fair enough, imvho, leveling is a cornerstone of an MMO and any way to skip it is wrong (I disagree with the leveling boosts too.) but each to their own (let’s be honest it is now butchered, take 4-5 hours as a casual to level an alt in DF (I reckon some of these speed runners could do it in 2 or so)
