Cancelaura inside castsequence

Hello,
With patch 10 and the addition of Soulburn i tried to incorporate it into my port/portal 1 button macro. And it kind of works :slight_smile: What i have is this :

#showtooltip Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)
/castsequence [nomod] Soulburn, Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)
/cast [mod:shift] Demonic Circle(Summon);
/castsequence [mod:ctrl] Soulburn, Demonic Gateway;

So everything works unless i get stunned feared of whatever the second before i press either teleport or gateway. If that happens then Soulburn is already active therefore none of the macros will work. With 100 things to watch inside the arena this starts to get on my nerves a bit when it happens so the only way I thought it could work is to add a cancelaura at the start of the macro like this:

/castsequence [nomod] cancelaura Soulburn, Soulburn, Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)

and of course nothing happens now, i think cancelaura does not work inside a castsequence. Except for having one extra button to dispel it, does any1 have any other idea on how it could be done ?

#showtooltip Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)
/cancelaura [mod:alt] Soulburn
/stopmacro [mod:alt]
/castsequence [mod:shift] Demonic Circle(Summon); [mod:ctrl] Soulburn, Demonic Gateway; Soulburn, Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)

Added a mod:alt to cancel soulburn and optimized the rest of it. If you try to do the cancel without a modifier it’ll remove it on each press which would make the whole thing useless.

You could get rid of the stopmacro line and then alt+ctrl would cancel and do your ctrl sequence, alt+shift would cancel and do the shift sequence, and alt would cancel and do the default sequence, but I’d personally prefer more control.

Thanks for the tip, however this involves pressing one extra button and on top watching if i don’t have Soulburn active when i try to port or place a gateway and this is exactly what i wanted to avoid.
Basically what i had for the past expansions and how i would like it to have 1 button for all those activities, in my case the “B” key. Pressing simple “B” will teleport me to my circle while at start of an arena i do a fast ctrl+b for portal and shift+b to place the circle. I know we are literally talking tenths of a seccond here but starting with release 10 and the introduction of Soulburn if i get interrupted in any way while placing portal or teleport circle then Soulburn remains active and when i am focused by 2 melee and i want to use either a simple port by pressing B or a health stones (which you guessed, also has a Soulburn in it’s macro) it just won’t work. Except from cancelaura is there any other command that i can try inside my macro to take it out at the start of each line ?

Looked up the spell details and Soulburn is off the GCD so you don’t need a sequence in the first place.

#showtooltip [mod:shift] Demonic Circle(Summon); [mod:ctrl] Demonic Gateway; Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)
/cast Soulburn
/cast [mod:shift] Demonic Circle(Summon); [mod:ctrl] Demonic Gateway; Demonic Circle: Teleport(Teleport)

damn. That’s right, why was i trying the hard way ? Thanks m8, this works perfectly. Thank again !
